Only 3 dead kids is a success? |
Smart small - work your way up. Based on today's shooting a parent or guardian would be getting 11 years for owning the weapon in the household that precipitated this assault. Most people are terrified of just 1 year. |
This. This is the event that made me lose complete respect/trust/confidence in our country. Nothing this country does or doesn’t do surprises me now. Nothing. |
Good point. It has to be enough to scare the hell out of people to keep guns locked away. |
I'm confused by the video. It seems like the kids run out the window and right back around into the school where the shooter would be. But the sheriff is there so it makes me think the shooter was not at the door at all. Unless they ran to an adjacent building which its very hard to tell not knowing the layout of the school. |
it's the fault of violent video games, and social liberal policies that break down the family structure, the pandemic made them stir crazy. I'm sure there are more. |
It could have been much worse. I think that's the point. It's just sad all around. |
I absolutely agree. |
Can we hold anyone who knew about it accountable? You know… like they do in Texas for abortion? |
We have the highest gun per capita rate in the western world - most of the world, for that matter. If guns truly made us safer as the pro-gun advocates say, we should be the safest place in the world. Instead we’re one of the most dangerous. |
You have blood on your hands. |
+1. I was young when that happened and it horrified me then. As a mother now it’s unfathomable. |
+1 The GOP will rot in hell. |
Geography, demography, and sociology make it a safe bet. Not a sure bet, but a safe bet. |
| Little security, parents expecting schools to handle everything... sad. Truly sad. Three unnecessarily killed. |
