Probably not hard to prove depending on timing of messages compared to say, when she worked. I work in healthcare and there will be a documentation trail of every single thing she did during her shifts, the time she pulled meds from the pyxis, the time she gave meds, the time she documented any tiny thing on each patient, and on and on.

Ok but what she did or didn't do with BB prior really has nothing to do with this or what happened the day she was murdered (which based on the arrests and preliminary tidbits from the prosecution, seems to not have been an account set up by her).

Of course divorce would have been logical. But first of all these two were acting in the dog-like heat of their passion, clouding their thought processes. I am on the fence on whether she was sent to the closet to get the second gun or had it the whole time. I can see Brendan, as CB & JR lay dying (and his young accomplice maybe now scared and definitely in shock) suddenly deciding to make sure JPM keeps her mouth shut by making sure she is just as culpable as he is and directing her to take that shot.

I sort of agree, I was recently thinking that I’m not sure if the second shot/gun was in the original plan. I’m thinking that because of police/1st responder saying Brendan asked if Joe still had a pulse….I think after the first shot, he could have been worried Joe wouldn’t die and would tell what happened.

IMO it had to be part of the plan, gave her skin in the game to shut up. Why else take her to the range repeatedly and buy a second gun for her to use?

There are plausible reasons BB took JM to the gun range.. it's a weird couples date.. there are plausible reasons that BB purchases the second firearm. IMO JM was still all in on the plan before the plan went to south. I just think she didn't plan to get her hands dirty.

Also he is not in love with her. He used her and has no plans to marry her unless it would help avoid being convicted. For all we know that’s part of the scheme to keep her quiet and thinking he will stay wants a life with her “after” this. A couple cheap tickets to Brazil and downloading Duolingo is a small price to pay for silence.

I agree. He wasn't going to run to Brazil because he's in love with her and wants to be with her forever. He was probably dumb enough to think it was a first step to going on the run as it looked more like he would be arrested. When we had an au pair a few years ago, I joined a very active au pair FB group. It was a place where both au pairs and host parents could ask questions, get support, etc.

When posts got heated, a minority of au pairs would clap back by telling host moms that how they could "take" the husbands in a heartbeat. Also, some au pairs truly were VERY resentful of doing any childcare.

It was often Brazilian au pairs. And I hate to generalize like that, because it could just be that there are more Brazilian APs in the country / active on social media. But I say this because I think these are probably the messages that JM was getting from her au pair community.

All this to say, I think JM was in a very unhealthy mindset. She's a reasonably attractive 23 year old. There's absolutely no reason she should've been ride or die for THIS guy. In his 30s (40s?), has a kid, not rich, kind of gross looking, sallow skin, pudgy body, etc. She absolutely could've bagged an early twenties dude like the rest of them do for their green card.

Doesn’t much matter either way. Brendan obviously hated his wife enough to brutally murder her with their daughter in the home. The nanny was a great help to him regardless of her motive.
