Do we know where the au pair has been living since February? Has she been continuing her work in the home with the husband? |
Wonder if the Au pair stabbed the wife too, then was caught by Ryan who was there for whatever reason, and then she shot him before he could call for help. |
You mean the au pair killed him in self defense? Hmmm. Then they would have likely charged her with manslaughter, not 2nd degree murder. |
well...if she did it, I don't think the dad would have grabbed the phone from her hand at the time she called 911, to say HE shot a man that was stabbing his wife. |
Yeah why did he originally tell cops he shot the man? That means he was hiding something. |
Or maybe he didn't say it and it was misreported. |
The 911 call is public record. I just read an article that said Ch 4 pressed officials on the previous report and they said everything is under investigation. Some tidbits here too: https://www.websleuths.com/forums/threads/va-herndon-joseph-ryan-shot-christine-banfield-stabbed-both-deceased-in-home.668556/page-2 |
This is so confusing.
Can someone summarize? |
Maybe she forced him to call 911 under threat of shooting him? |
I think the husband was trying to cover for the au pair….maybe they were in a relationship? |
Or he was trying to protect her thinking he could cover it up... the reason why Ryan was there in the first place. |
Oh boy, this is going to be a Lifetime movie. |
Why would an au pair kill someone? That’s weird. I would think she’d run run out of the house calling 911 if she thought there was an intruder. |
Holy crap, the au pair!!???
The summary is: Two people died in the home. The wife was stabbed and a man was shot. The husband told police he found the deceased man stabbing his wife and shot him. The au pair has now been charged with shooting the man. |
The husband lied about what happened immediately, so it definitely wasn’t a situation where the au pair was in the wrong place at the wrong time. |
