Of course divorce would have been logical. But first of all these two were acting in the dog-like heat of their passion, clouding their thought processes. But in all honesty I think BB and AP were aware that in the case of filing for divorce, BB would have had to vacate the premises and CB would have fired AP. If CB didn't already know for certain there was an affair she certainly suspected it and was probably not in favor of extending AP's contract for another the previous October. So out of the work which was the basis of AP's visa, she would have had to either 1) find a new family quickly or 2) return to Brazil. Both of these issues could be worked around over time. After getting a legal divorce (a year or so) BB could have married AP. But these two hound dogs couldn't bear to be apart. They wanted what they wanted NOW! And I'm not even taking into account the financial issues as well. [/quote]
