My thought exactly. Would someone let him know. Wouldn't it be stupid for him to believe a reporter?

His reaction was moving. Trump didn’t want this; he liked RBG in spite of the nasty things she said about him. And some of this things were really nasty. But Trump liked her; he truly did.

Trump doesn't like anyone except for Ivanka. I'm sorry, why would you believe he does?

DP. I actually think he might have liked her. He appears to have a love-hate relationship with strong women.

Mostly just hate from what I can see.

You are seeing fear. He knows that he can't control her, which he both hates and respects. Nonetheless he still tries to control her. It's a Mommy thing, I think.

"I want you to use my words against me. If there's a Republican president in 2016 and a vacancy occurs in the last year of the first term, you can say Lindsey Graham said let's let the next president, whoever it might be, make that nomination."

1. Trump appoints nominee.

2. Republicans don’t confirm a nominee, citing Garland principle.

3. Media grouses about Trump violating Garland principle and gives no credit to Senate’s forbearance.

4. Biden wins, expand size of the Supreme Court. Media celebrates this historic milestone.

You seem very intimidated by “the media.”

Time for Biden to release his list.

I actually believe that this was a sincere reaction to being informed of her actual passing. Obviously, those in the know have been aware for a couple of weeks or so that she was declining fast (most likely) so it's not a real surprise and they are prepared. But still, hearing that it actually occurred, is always news and a bit jarring.

Yes I agree with you, it's one of those rare sincere moments of his life, because he just heard about it. That tells me he enjoys sparring with her. The only other time, I'm aware if him acting that way, it was a woman who did business with her, so of course he didn't pay. Then she tricked him into paying in advance for another product which she didn't deliver. He called her up and congratulated her.

He will do whatever Trump orders him to do. Whatever leverage Trump has that caused Graham to abruptly change from a never-Trumper to Trump-leghumper will ensure his continued cooperation.

What strong women has Trump “loved”? As far as I can tell, he only likes people who are obsequious to him.

Not surprised but still appalled. It's especially galling that he's using Kavanaugh the attempted rapist as an excuse.

How far we have fallen that the President of the United States having a nearly normal reaction to someone dying is considered “moving.” Maybe he should get the Nobel Peace Prize for not being an utter and total weirdo for once?? 😭😭😭

Especially since it's now been reported that he talked to his aides and then walked over to the reporters. He was for sure lying. "I'm hearing this now for the first time." Sure, Jan.
