Lindsey Graham does seem awfully comfortable with rapist and would-be rapists. I wonder why that is.

Increases the chances the GOP loses the senate if Collins etc have to cast a vote against Roe. If they lose the senate, Dems should pack the court. So republicans should decide if they prefer a 5-4 majority or 7-6 minority.

Not sure you can make that blanket statement but Kavanaugh’s behavior during confirmation was unbecoming of a justice. Also he lied in his financial disclosures and to Congress. He should be impeached.

Trump must be a luckiest politician. He barely won the election in 2016 with zero political experience and since he became a president, he had already picked two supreme court justices. This will be his third pick. And in the middle of a very difficult reelection fight, this event may help him to shift a focus from the pandemic to the supreme court.

I disagree. RBG has seen it as her duty to drive for progressive ideals, to be the motivating force on the court. Roberts is worried about his legacy and flip-flops like a fresh caught catfish. The two are not ideologically similar. I as a Trump supporter respect RBG far far more than Roberts.

The Supreme Court is poised to eliminate health insurance for tens of millions of people in the middle of the pandemic, so they’re very much intertwined.
