NO SHE"s NOT CATHOLIC.

Her group is an off shoot not mainstream by any means.

She said "faith before Constituiton" The highest court in the US does not need a female cult person.

Her "faith" has 1700 members and they scrubbed their website today. That says they are hiding something.

She should not be confirmed because she only has two years experience. Really Trumpers dumb as rocks!

She is going to repeal the ACA, Pre existing conditiions, Women owning homes, credit cards, etc.. What the H! She is not qualified for a lifetime appointment period! This has nothing to do with Roe vs Wade, which by the way she is on record as saying "settled law" just like her buddy Kavanaugh.

Hard to say Dems are anti-catholic when the highest elected Dem is catholic (Pelosi) and the presidential nominee, Biden, is Catholic.

Romney hates Trump. I think he'd love to sink his nominee.

Romney doesn’t like Trump because Trumps corrupt. He still votes with Trump 82% of the time. Romneys also from Utah, a conservative heavily pro-life state. Lets not fool ourselves.

Romney should insist that the new Justice recuse herself from participating in any case challenging the Presidential election. Trump, Pence and others have poisoned the well by saying that this appointment has to be expedited so the new Justice can support Trump's threatened challenge to his upcoming loss.

+1.

No one is anti Catholic Trumper!

We are anti Amy... because she supports household voting that men should be in charge of households. Men are above women in the food chain!

You have got to be kidding.

Supporting her confirmation with her connection to her cult absolutely not. She is on the record saying she would vote her faith before the law. Last time I checked the US was founded on religious freedom. She doesn't get to judge that way! She should not be confirmed period. Do you not understand what she will do to women? And she supports a liar, scammer, horrible human.

What about the hatch act or the emoluments clause? Given she's so fond of the Constitution original format she better vote to convict Trump on both of those!

The People of Praise do not belong on the Supreme Court. She's not Catholic!

This. Separation of church and state and all that Jazz. I’ll do the praise dance in my own home. My pastor doesn’t govern and my governor shouldn’t pastor. And certainly not a life appointed judge with these concerns that deserve American vetting.

Every single Republican senator was on board, and a number of them are up for re-election for the first time since then and can be held accountable at the ballot box. Trump now is just doing his job by vetting, interviewing, and sending up a nominee to the Senate. He was not a senator in 2016 or even an elected official. McConnell would likewise be doing his job now (unlike then) by scheduling a vote as soon as he can. What happened in the past is over. There is a good chance that the Republican overreach will help Biden secure the electoral votes he needs to win (just look at the fundraising gains) and turn the Senate to Democrats, but Democrats must be careful to keep their powder dry! While it may feel good to protest, it would be counterproductive to overreact and take to the streets when a nominee is announced and/or pressure senators outside of official channels during the hearings. There needs to be some decorum or there could be a backlash against Democrats that will help Trump and Republicans in November.

You are correct here. Honor reigns eternal.

True dat.

Trumpy trump trump idiot manages to define them away by waving her hands and saying they're not *really* Catholic if they don't want the death penalty for abortion doctors and women who seek them out. See that way you never have to reckon with facts that don't support your narrow POV.

If ever there was an example of why liberals are not to be trusted, this post is it. Every word is a flat out lie. You are truly repulsive.
