I have hope that Romney OK'd the vote to consider Trump's nominee because he plans to give her the Thumbs Down (ala McCain on the ACA) just to stick it to Donald.
Romney hates Trump. I think he'd love to sink his nominee. |

Romney doesn’t like Trump because Trumps corrupt. He still votes with Trump 82% of the time. Romneys also from Utah, a conservative heavily pro-life state. Lets not fool ourselves. |

+1. This episode was a good reminder of who Romney is. He is anti-Trump when it is politically expedient, but he is still a Republican to his core and will not let his dislike of trump get in the way of his own objectives (eg, a far-right extremest court). |

As much as I would love this, it is not going to happen. Romney is a conservative republican. If the nominee is a conservative republican without some obviously disqualifying personal or professional flaw, he will vote to confirm. |

+1. Romney wants to ban abortion. He wants to end the ACA. He will vote to confirm a nominee who will help SCOTUS do this. None of this is about principles of judicial confirmations in an election year or anyone’s qualifications to serve, it is about ending healthcare expansions, reproductive rights, and legal protections of the rights of minorities and women. Do not lose sight of what the Republicans’ goals are here. |

Romney should insist that the new Justice recuse herself from participating in any case challenging the Presidential election. Trump, Pence and others have poisoned the well by saying that this appointment has to be expedited so the new Justice can support Trump's threatened challenge to his upcoming loss. |

No one is anti Catholic Trumper! We are anti Amy... because she supports household voting that men should be in charge of households. Men are above women in the food chain! You have got to be kidding. Supporting her confirmation with her connection to her cult absolutely not. She is on the record saying she would vote her faith before the law. Last time I checked the US was founded on religious freedom. She doesn't get to judge that way! She should not be confirmed period. Do you not understand what she will do to women? And she supports a liar, scammer, horrible human. What about the hatch act or the emoluments clause? Given she's so fond of the Constitution original format she better vote to convict Trump on both of those! The People of Praise do not belong on the Supreme Court. She's not Catholic! |
