Grassley has already said that he would not consider a SC justice nomination in 2020. So have Murkowski, Collins and Romney. The court has not always had 9 justices.

And no it's not the Dems fault the rules were changed. McConnell decided the GOP would filibuster all of Obama's nominees...that is what brought the whole thing about.

McConnell didn't follow those rules, why should Biden?

There is a part of me that says let him pick someone. Sort of give up the spot. Then a ton of people will lose a reason to vote for Trump as the position is filled and it will be his own downfall.
