The Heights is a much better team than that result would indicate. They won just about every face off & had the ball a lot. Churchill got a few unsettled goals on turnovers and on man up situations. Churchill's goalie is really good and had a sharp game & that made a big difference. |

How many college commits does the heights have? What about Churchill? |
| Churchill has 2 juniors, committed to Brown. They are both exceptionally talented. |
Basically one of the worst measurements of talent or ability, but ok. Heights and Churchill both had a few good players for sure. Not nearly as many as the top rung privates, obviously, and that's the difference between a good high school team and an exceptional one like Landon or Bullis. Heights is probable a better team than Churchill but just couldn't convert on winning almost every face off. Churchill's goalie is just off the charts, so they do have a chance to punch up and beat a more talented team on a given day. |
| Kudos to Churchill for fitting in, and agreeing to play a tough private school team. The win is an added bonus. If Moco public lax is to evolve, they need to be playing at least a handful of privates every year. |
| Churchill and Landon have been playing now a few a years. I believe they are slated to play again in late April. |
PVI has a corner on the VLC market. |
Does Montgomery County have to approve games against non public schools? Or is that a coaches call? |
They are. Great courage by Churchill coach. I am sure the team will have a good, albeit not a winning, showing. Better if they played WCAC or lesser IAC teams. |
