Several companies are already digging into their year-end cash to buy supplies and components in advance of the coming tariffs.

For my own company we're trying to buy an entire years' worth of certain components to get ahead of the curve. We're having to do this so we can honor contract pricing for current customers.

And no, the exporters do not pay the tariff, despite what Trump says.

Out of spite, I think Ds should hang back for a few elections at the federal level. Let the Rs turn the US into the hellhole they desire. Then we can revisit the value of government regulation and government services. Maybe they need to feel the pain first.

Was explaining to the previous poster that along with wage growth comes higher prices. So unless you are actually being paid more yourself at a rate to keep up with prices/inflation, you will think everything is more expensive.

The point is that all women, even those with passports, will suffer if they need emergency care that has been outlawed by federal legislation introduced and passed by a Republican Congress, signed by Trump, and upheld by the Republican Supreme Court.
