Let them reap what they sow

But I so wish for it all to work out just as we know it will. Let them lose their healthcare and social security and welfare. Let them all get deported, every single one of them. Let our stocks go up while they wallow in their paycheck to paycheck. Let their families go hungry and sick. Let Musk cut the government in half, all of it. Let their women bleed out in hospitals.

We will be fine but I cannot wait, cannot I tell you, for them to reap what they sow.

Who exactly is the "them" that you're talking about? Who are these people that wallow in their paycheck to paycheck while you get to see your stocks go up?

the 65% of the US working class that do not have college degrees. those people.

I see you’re keeping with the brilliant strategy of calling half the country trash.

Keep it up I’m sure it will win you guys the election in 2028

They are trash or garbage or scum (choose your adjective). Yes Harris lost and I’m sad but that doesn’t change my stance about the people who voted for this convicted felon and rapist.

I feel somewhat the same. I’m sick over this but ultimately it’s not going to affect my life. It’ll mostly hurt the people who voted for him.

This is exactly what I said to DH this morning when he told me the results…it’s unfortunate, but our day to day lives won’t really be impacted in any way we can’t deal with. It’s people like my mom, dependent on Social Security, barely able to afford her groceries and health care costs right now, that I’m worried about (and I’m fairly certain she voted for Trump).

Stop acting like trash and we'll stop calling you trash.

I voted for Harris, and my family will not be fine. But hey, good for you.

I'm not the OP but let's be perfectly honest here: Anyone who voted for Trump, or who abstained from voting, does not have ANYONE to blame for anything to go wrong in the next 4 years but themselves. If their wages don't go up, if their grocery and heathcare costs don't come down, if their rents don't come down, if they still can't afford to buy a house, that's THEIR OWN FAULT.

There's no escaping that.

Anecdotally I know of two Trump voters - one with family on ACA (lol!) and one with illegal family in the country with an expired work visa. I can’t wait for them to enjoy their Trump votes! (PS as expected, no stocks so none of the DOW is up X points counter argument).

How does it not affect you? Are you not going to end up supporting your mother then? Is your family all perfectly health and no disabilities?

He won the popular vote. Finger pointing and stupid, smug, blinkered arrogance are your fatal character flaws.

I voted for Harris and now I’ll have to support my mother who lives off of her SS and may have to leave the country to protect my disabled child.

To add: Democratic strategists CURRENTLY ON MSNBC collectively AGREE that the economic messaging to poorer traditional Democratic voters was poor. But hey you know better right!? Right!

I'm sorry but no president is going to save the world from climate change. It's been over for decades.

Obviously we have to or the world will end.

Accusing me of being arrogant doesn't change anything I said.
