The Senate map in 2026 also looks terrible for Democrats. They are not winning back the Senate. The House will always be close, but the fact that Democrats are losing upstate NY and non-coastal California doesn't bode well. Progressive policies and their insistence on not having primaries have wrecked the Democratic Party for a good long while.

I have a feeling we are about to see black people just sit out of politics or even vote republican if that party goes back to normal (pre MAGA). liberal groups always seem to be calling on black women to help and organize but get nothing in return. All of the black content that I am seeing is about going into self preservation mode and withdrawing all of the help.
