Two suspects have been arrested in connection to an attack reported by "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett, Chicago Police Department said Friday.

The men arrested were the same men that police previously said were being viewed as "potential suspects," according to Tom Ahern, Chicago police communications deputy director.

They have not been charged.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions so quickly.

Maybe those "Nigerian brothers" are really Rachel Dolezal and a friend who have gone trans-race, trans-gender, trans-country and trans-politics in order to teach poor Smollett a lesson?

I would love to see a musical version of this on Broadway. Perhaps Jussie could play himself once he's a free man.

There were so many fishy things before:

He was talking to his agent during the attack - remember? The phone was in his pocket during the conversation and during the attack. So as someone quickly approached him, he must have quickly placed the phone in his pocket (b/c that's easy to do when someone smacks you around in front while another kicks you in the back) and fought back (as he claimed) until they decided to end it and walk off . . .

The phone DROPPED to the ground at some point. And the manager, who was on the entire time, heard MAGA!

Who wouldn't believe this, PP? Smollett is a victim of two Nigerian men - extras on Empire - who "beat him." totally believable

Hey, if that manager provided false testimony, isn't that prosecutable too?

Yeah there’s a photo of one of the brothers working out in the private gym of Jussie’s condo building..they were apparently workout buddies, according to the attorney for the brothers. Jussie follows them on IG.
