Enough with the whining about the bullis transfers. Who cares.

Bullis would suck without their transfers.

They would battle it out with Episcopal for last place if it were not for their ten plus transfers in the past two years.

If you knew anything about lacrosse you would know they have one of the worst coaching staffs in the area

Landon won in 2017

And right now I believe Landon is the regular season 2018 IAC champ.

2018 IAC has CO-Champions. Landon and Bullis each ended the regular season 4 - 1. Landon earned the #1 seed and home field due to tiebreaker of Head-Head.

Friday should be quite a show, with this being the final game coached by Coach Bordley. I understand numerous Landon Alums will be in attendance as will the entire Landon student body. The weather is also planning to cooperate.

This fell through, as the coaches lined up were high school coaches and this was not allowed, so that deal fell through. He appears to be branching out from Annapolis and wants to become more involved in the DC area and also has a team in Richmond now. There are some younger kids that attend school in the Bethesda and Potomac area that play for the Annapolis Hawks, and there is I believe one on the 2022 team that is going to Landon next year.

Can anyone tell me more about Hogan and the Hawks organization? I have a son who is interested so we will probably allow him to try out in August.

I don't think they would "suck" but they would not nearly as strong if it were not for the transfers.

See folks, there is a nice way to make the same point.

Where can we find a schedule of the girls ISL tournament? I know the games are starting today, but it is impossible to find a schedule online and all the school websites don’t specify opponent. Anyone know a link?

There isnt one .. It sucks. You have to go to the school's website or call the coach or ask a current player's parent.

I know that, in the AA division:

Holton plays EHS @ Holton @ 5:30
SSSAS plays Flint Hill @ SSSAS 5:00 pm
Visi plays Potomac @ Visi @ 5:30
SR @ home 5:00 (dont know against who tho)

Second round is on Saturday, all games at 1:00 at various schools depending on who wins first round games.

Bullis moved down to A and Flint Hill up to AA for this year. Last place AA and first place A will switch places again for next year; which might be the same teams.

Why do the people on this thread follow high school lacrosse so intently - like these teams are at the collegiate level? I understand if your child plays for a local school but this level of interest in high school teams? Why?
Anonymous
Mainly, people around here follow lacrosse because they love lacrosse and follow this board because they have a connection (parent/student/alum) to one or more of the teams/schools that are discussed. What's it to you?
