Does anyone have the time of the game Friday? |
Bullis is firing on al cylinders right now. They dominated Prep who barely lost to Landon. |
Prep looked terrible yesterday, they didn’t even appear to get off the bus. Dropped passes and un forced turnovers.
So poorly coached too. Prep really should consider bringing back Giblin or hiring an alum with coaching experience. The 2018 season was a black eye for a team that had high expectations. |
What I think what makes Epstein so great is that every team knows he is the player to stop and no one has been able to stop him. (Except for St Albans) Epstein will be a great addition to Hopkins and a great loss to Landon. |
Epstein is a special player, a once in a generation type player. He has shattered Landon's scoring record and that in itself is no small task.
Bullis win's the game on Friday if they contain him and limit his touches. Landon win's the game if Epstein gets hot like he did in the first game. Both teams defenses are pretty suspect if you ask me, expect a pretty high scoring game too. |
Anyone know if the rumors are true that Madlax bought out Club Blue? |
Club Blue was looking to sell off of what remained of the organization, I have not heard that the sale was complete. |
Difference will be faceoff and goalie. |
Madlax bought Club Blue. Doesn't take effect until June 1. Will be called Madlax DC Dogs |
Originally last year, Matt Hogan had agreed to one of the Club Blue teams and was going to rebrand it as the Maryland Hawks. This fell through, as the coaches lined up were high school coaches and this was not allowed, so that deal fell through. He appears to be branching out from Annapolis and wants to become more involved in the DC area and also has a team in Richmond now. There are some younger kids that attend school in the Bethesda and Potomac area that play for the Annapolis Hawks, and there is I believe one on the 2022 team that is going to Landon next year. |
Maybe 10 years ago. |
Actually Prep was in IAC finals 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015 |
Landon won it in 2015
bullis won it in 2016 Landon won in 2017 And right now I believe Landon is the regular season 2018 IAC champ. |
Bet Prep really wishes Giblin would come back. |
Probably not. You would have to understand a lot about the school to understand it. But Giblin’s success there was in spite of much of the Administration not because of it. |
