Is he? Do you have a link to support your claim?

The dna evidence of rape would be the aborted baby. We all know this story is a lie now, but everyone seems ok for this unknown pregnant 10 year old to be raped and impregnated by an adult, the adult never face any charges or legal consequences, apparently.

No, Nancy Drew, the story unfortunately is true. The rapist has been arrested. The Ohio AG, the right-wing media jackals, the forced birth crowd -- YOU WERE ALL WRONG. You wrongly accused a respected physician of lying. And, yes, a little girl was forced to travel to another state so she didn't have to go through a pregnancy and bear her rapist's child.

YOUR CRAZY IDEAS HAVE CAUSED A LITTLE CHILD EVEN MORE PAIN. F YOU.

A Columbus man has been charged with impregnating a 10-year-old Ohio girl, whose travel to Indiana to seek an abortion led to international attention following the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v Wade and activation of Ohio's abortion law.

Gershon Fuentes, 27, whose last known address was an apartment on Columbus' Northwest Side, was arrested Tuesday after police say he confessed to raping the child on at least two occasions. He's since been charged with rape, a felony of the first degree in Ohio.

Columbus police were made aware of the girl's pregnancy through a referral by Franklin County Children Services that was made by her mother on June 22, Det. Jeffrey Huhn testified Wednesday morning at Fuentes' arraignment. On June 30, the girl underwent a medical abortion in Indianapolis, Huhn said.

Well, that settles that. I look forward to all of the mea culpas that will never actually come from those on the right who attacked the doctor for the telling the truth about this case so they could deny their own depravity.

I thought the story was fishy and I dont feel sorry for thinking that. In this era, its smart to be on guard for disinformation and wait for receipts. The Ohio DA, an authoritative source, disputed the veracity. People can and should take highly emotional, political stories with a grain of salt until the facts are verified.

What you don't seem to get is that this is a routine, fairly common, bread-and-butter story in the child abuse world. You think it's "political" or sounds "highly emotional" because you don't know what the heck you are talking about, or how much you don't know.

Anyone in the field will tell you this happens all the time, and it gets reported, but the info is usually pretty carefully guarded to avoid further traumatization. Men who rape children don't usually just do it once -- there is a pattern of abuse, and other crappy awful choices, and kids get impregnated.

Hey, all you posters who thought it sounded "fishy" -- I notice you aren't focusing on the jackass moves of the AG.

Can we get some damnation heaped on the AG for flagrantly lying and politicizing this terrible, sorry case?

Do you have the backbone to criticize your own, or do you just leave that kind of fair play up to the Democrats?

So can we all come together at least to say it was right and just that the 10 year old received an abortion, and it would have been criminal to make her go to term and go through delivery? And that it was wrong to make her travel to get one?

Even the anti-abortion folk out there, can you at least agree that this is what should happen, and that it's not good that she had to travel across state lines to access abortion?

And now we know it wasn't a lie.

Yet not a single damn apology from any of them. They are truly horrible people.
'

The Wall Street Journal has an editorial in the paper this morning:
"An Abortion Story Too Good to Confirm
Biden told a tale of a 10-year old rape victim that no one can identify"

The paper basically accuses Biden of lying:

What we seem to have here is a presidential seal of approval on an unlikely story from a biased source that neatly fits the progressive narrative but can’t be confirmed. The abortion debate is intense and passions run high. But the American people deserve better from their President than an unproven story designed to aggravate those passions.

The editorial remains up on their website with a note at the top reporting that the story actually is true. But no apology, no mea culpa.

Want to know one reason why our democracy is failing? Because a large part of our media has no interest in reporting facts, they only want to tear down the Democrats, and propagandize.

Even Kessler is being kind of a d|ck about this.

It literally took 2 weeks for a minor child to need an abortion in Ohio.
This stuff happens. It’s time we talk more openly about real life, so we can craft polices that very real people need.
You were dubious because you’ve been sheltered.

Let's get back to the discussion at hand: children who are impregnated need to have access to abortions. You are a monster if you deny them one.

Just say: "I'm sorry, I should not have cast doubts about a raped 10 year-old girl."

Leave it at that and go home for the night.

I honestly do not understand. Do they not believe that these things happen? Truly?

I think raped children should be able to get abortions. Making that illegal is bad, and the people who support making it illegal are bad too.

Read the remarkable survival story of Michele Bratcher Goodwin, a law professor at UC Irvine, who was repeatedly raped by her father starting at age 10. When she was 12, she had an abortion, which she says saved her life.

Yes. Men who rape children tend not to do it once. It's again, and again, and again, and they also often don't use condoms.

I'll never forget the first four year old girl who had been infected with HIV by a family member that I took care of.

Revolting. Both that she endured such an awful experience and that extremists are advocating for raped children to go full term and deliver babies. And revolting that anti-abortion advocates look the other way and wash their hands of these situations. It doesn't affect them, they sleep well at night believing they've saved "babies" but don't give 2 thoughts about the babies who are punished for being raped by having to endure pregnancy.

Hmmm I wonder why the Ohio doctor wouldn’t go ahead and do it?
