Black Panther in my mind is a little different. Disney put a fortune in this man to lead a Marvel franchise for Black Panther. Spent a fortune finding the right actor, promoting him, etc. Now they really have nothing to continue this franchise which was also started for the black community to have their super hero.

Guess it's all his fault for getting cancer and making Disney lose all that money.

He had the cancer before Black Panther. He knew the significance of the role. He should not have taken it. You can see the scar on his abdomen in some scenes from operation(s). He wanted to create his own legacy.

Any actor can die in a car accident at any time. Nothing is guaranteed.

Huh? Game of Thrones managed to continue after Ned Stark's demise. And the Red Wedding. Harry Potter replaced the Professor Dumbledore actor without explanation when the first actor died. Disney has good writers who can craft a plot twist. Or they can opt for a prequel. Or find a long lost daughter/son.

PP you replied to here. There is no protection. I worked with a huge male narcissist in 2021. He was yelling at me, telling me to shut up, any mistake he made he said "well, that's your fault." There was an incident at work, and he misplaced an important FedEx for the front office (gov officer, high level). He then asked me to write a letter to the Front Office!!saying how I dropped off the FedEx and how it was given to the Fed Ex people. Then, I asked to see the dates. He said it is not important. Except it was! I was on vacation, and for the rest of that week I did not even go to drop off any Fed Envelopes! He still insisted that I should write it. Truth did not matter at all. I would have lost my job then if I did write that letter. Instead, I was able to move to a higher position within the gov office. You see the parallel of Kate apologizing for something she did not do?
Many people did not believe me, but lucky for me, today in government, there is some protection for victims of such behaviors. Not much, mind you, he is still working. Since my time it that office, 5 new people have quit. Honestly, I recall now how there were rum ours that Harry was outraged on Kate's behalf, I think now they were true.

Then, there’s the BBC video with a jacketless Kate in the cold with a bird chirp soundtrack and greenery in the midst of a wintry March. BBC admits editing was done and is adamant William was not present during the filming of the statement. He wasn’t there to provide Kate moral support while she had to address the world with such devastatingly emotional news.

I agree with all of this 100%. Every single piece of messaging about this situation has been shady. Honestly, it's mind boggling. They have billions at their disposal; why can they not put out one honest, trustworthy piece of communication about what is going on? They are getting doubters because they are putting out dubious information.

I get where you’re coming from. No one likes feeling like they are being duped or deceived. At the same time, it’s weird that you (apparently?) think you’re entitled to any information on her health. If she’s lying, she’s lying. It’s her prerogative.

It reminds of the Black Panther actor who kept his cancer diagnosis private. Can you imagine? “How DARE you keep this info from me! You’re a celebrity! You walk a red carpet and do interviews in magazines, you MUST disclose what type of cancer you have, your treatment protocol, whether you’ve lost your hair, how much weight you’ve lost!!!” That’s insane. They’re entitled to privacy and yes, they are even allowed to lie to you.

Black Panther in my mind is a little different. Disney put a fortune in this man to lead a Marvel franchise for Black Panther. Spent a fortune finding the right actor, promoting him, etc. Now they really have nothing to continue this franchise which was also started for the black community to have their super hero.

Maybe he just wanted to earn some money to leave to his family? Even if he did not have kids, money earned can secure his parents and siblings for the lifetime.

Guess it's all his fault for getting cancer and making Disney lose all that money.

He had the cancer before Black Panther. He knew the significance of the role. He should not have taken it. You can see the scar on his abdomen in some scenes from operation(s). He wanted to create his own legacy.
