I don't doubt that he could have met Khazar through Bob, but not because Nima was too far beneath Bob socially. What is thought of as a "third tier company" in DC circles is thought of as a "startup" in SV and there is actually interest and overlap. It's considered a street cred thing to work at startups. They aren't as into fake status as DC is. |

You are so zealous about making some general point that you are not letting facts get in the way or actually making much sense. Nima is a nobody who is likely bankrolled by family money. He was socializing with Bob Lee bc Lee had been/or wanted to bang his sister. It was likely that Nima and his sister were trying to trade up the financial ladder and when Bob declined Nima went into a rage bc having put her marriage in jeapordy he was about to lose 2 golden tickets. |

Bob having introduced Khazar to the "witness" 3-4 years ago is a sad detail.
For people who think cheating and divorce don't really matter and kid focused lives continue, often they do not. Think of how much time he likely spent drinking with this "glam" motley crew over several years vs. how much time he spent with his kids? Mid-life crisis that dragged on and on until he wasn't alive to play it out any more. Very sad and tawdry and pointless. Very sad for his loved ones esp kids. His lifestyle in Miami was likely similar. Wonder if K was the reason his marriage ended? Watch the company you keep, folks. And don't be so bored and consumed with ennui that this baroque trash seemed cool and more worthy of your time than your kids. So odd he was so focused on being a good son to his own parents and basically skipped out on his own parental role. |

I wonder if Lee had frequently been in touch with Khazar or if he had just known her for a few years and if she had renewed their acquaintance as her own marriage was having issues? Lining up the next bag? Or had she factored in his own divorce? If so, seems her brother would have freaked a long time ago?

Some startups are legit. Not all 3rd tier companies are startups, they are just small businesses Largely, the only people who matter from a startup are the founders; employees of startups are by and large rubes who were sold magic beans (stock options) for their work, sweat, and talent rather than market rate comp. |

Wonder if his dad can swing the swanky Miami bachelor pad on his own. Lee does seem to have gone off the rails, he was not living a quality adult liife surrounded by people of good character. Seems like a heavy drinker, wonder what dragon he was chasing? So many locales for drinking just in his final hours, if you have to try SO HARD to make things seem "fun" maybe you are are not keeping the right company. Feel for his kids and also his ex-wife. There are few good cards to play when a mid-life crisis comes knocking. At least here there is enough money to go around. It is all just so meaningless. Avoid dramatic people. His rep as being the last to leave the party just leaves the door open for things to go sideways. The p*ssy could not have been all that, if he was even getting any or just pining. I've seen this with my own ex and with friends, this reversion to teen hours, pursuits, dramas when pushing 50. Maybe he was a good son or maybe that was a bit of a cover and deflection bc he really dropped the ball as a dad. Had he had more time maybe he would have gotten himself together. Now this trrash seems to see this tragedy as some kind of fame come-up. Be careful what you open the door to and what you invite into your life. |

Thanks for your cautionary tale but let’s admit, married life is mostly boring, as is hanging out with kids. That’s why people will keep cheating and divorcing or shirking their parental responsibilities. It’s just life. I hope not all of these people are killed though |
