Not nearly as bad as the school board rep Frisch who single handedly orchestrated relocating a new elementary school from the walkable, county owned neighborhood park location with green space, to an industrial park area that does not allow for walkers and requires students to arrive by bus or car. I woudn't say Kaufax and KCS "suck". Look at Tammy's newsletter, the whole thing is an apology to the community for everything Omeish has done, despite Omeish not apologizing herself. The "people" elected these individuals. They will (or won't) run for re-election. That will be the time to decide their fate. These individuals have not conducted themselves in any manner to warrant any sort of impeachment.

exactly. They might suck and do things you do not agree with...but that doesn't mean you get to kick anyone out of office because you don't like their stance on things or how they vote. You need to actually do something wrong...like our former President...but even he got off..

Corbett Sanders is a crappy Board member and worse person. Just look at how Mount Vernon HS (now a GS 1) has deteriorated during her time on the School Board. KCS only cares about her own school, West Potomac. Thanks to her over $40M is being wasted on an oversized, unnecessary addition to WestPo.

Frisch helped his buddies by moving the walkable neighborhood site for the new elementary school that was supposed to be put in at Blake Lane Dog Park, to an abandoned commercial building in a Dunn Loring industrial park.

Palchik made it happen on the Board of Supervisors end.

It is abhorrent what these two did, especially Frisch whose role is to represent the students, not his political cronies and a bunch of childless dog owners.

I would sign for Maren JUST BECAUSE she did not want kids in school all last year, BUT hired a private tutor and had a "pod" for her own child. (FCPS virtual learning was good enough for YOUR kids, but not HERS). She also swore school wasn't safe for kids but then let her own kid play travel soccer. OK for me, but not for thee!

I don’t care about any of that. Most families we know in the area had pods and most were a disaster. I don’t know how hers went. They were not a manic replacement for being in school. I didn’t want my kids in person for the majority of the year and they played soccer. Soccer is outside. School was inside. I’m not sure why so many people are upset over the pod. I didn’t hear anything positive about any pod. They were paid babysitters. Actual teachers refused to take any of these jobs.

And the other members are brain-dead cronies who scratch each other’s backs and pay no attention to issues like this that don’t present obvious opportunities for them to tout their commitment to equity. It’s pathetic. These people should all be replaced.
