As cited in an earlier post, one of the top reasons why a woman wants an abortion is that she can't afford the child. Clearly not every unwanted child will become a criminal, but you can't tell me that the odds are high of them having a stable childhood. Poverty is not good for society. Do you think this might be an environment where kids are more likely to be abused and/or preyed upon by “babysitters” or parents who are overwhelmed?

So because this scenario exists: we kill babies. Really? Rich families have kids who get preyed upon by bad people. Such awful things exist in every socio-economic level of society. We don’t kill a baby because his or her life may have less than perfect circumstances! look around, nobody has a perfect life. Yes. I’ve seen it in multiple Catholic families.

The parents barely interact with the youngest kids. After the first few, the following kids were not wanted and were not treated well at all. One family actually gave away their youngest kid to friends because they just had too many kids.

They were dirt poor so I don’t know how they handled the legal aspects (if they did) but they gave away one of their kids to family friends. I have met all of them - including the friends.

That was nice moving of the goal posts there. A PP stated that women became pregnant through their own actions. That's not correct as women can have sex all day and night with other women and never become pregnant. We need ejaculation from a man to become pregnant. 100% of the unwanted babies discussed in this thread were caused by a man. Men should be responsible for what they are doing and control their bodies' actions.
