What I don't understand is why people would want a society where mothers are forced to raise children they don't want. Like, that outcome is not good for the children and in turn, society. More poverty, more abuse, more crime, etc. It affects everyone eventually. And don't give me the whole give them up for adoption excuse. We all know that a fraction of those children actually get adopted, and our foster system is a nightmare. Again, poverty, abuse, crime, etc. It isn't the child's fault- they didn't choose to be born into such circumstances and they are the ones punished.
So women who can’t abort, they neglect and abuse their own child and punish the child for being conceived? Do the mothers know that the child didn’t choose to be conceived? You make mothers/women sound awful. If they can’t abort their child, they abuse and neglect the child, who eventually turns out to be a criminal! I am disgusted by the way women and babies are being painted by dcum in this thread. It sounds racist. It sounds like dcum thinks women are terrible people who will abuse their own child, and a baby who can’t be aborted will be a criminal. WTF!
Now you're just being obtuse. There is a direct correlation between poverty and crime: https://www.prisonlegalnews.org/news/2018/dec/7/brookings-institute-study-finds-direct-connection-between-poverty-and-crime-rates/ As cited in an earlier post, one of the top reasons why a woman wants an abortion is that she can't afford the child. Clearly not every unwanted child will become a criminal, but you can't tell me that the odds are high of them having a stable childhood. Poverty is not good for society. Why would you want to perpetuate the cycle?
Poor babies are just as important as wealthy babies. You are advocating for eugenics. And everyone here is fine with it. Unbelievable. Now I know for sure when a pp called unborn babies rodents or cockroaches and no one called them out on it, why. Because UMC liberals want to use minority voters, but actually despise them. Yes, black and brown babies should get a chance to choose their lives.
We are not advocating that they SHOULD be aborted. We are saying that if a mother does not not want bring a child into poverty, she shouldn't have to! If a mother is in poverty and wants to raise that child, fine, go for it. I support that, regardless of color.
