The vast vast majority of abortion is sought because of lifestyle choices.

Pregnancy is not being forced. If pregnancy is not being forced, neither is birth.

If the state is preventing women from ending a pregnancy, then a woman is being forced to be pregnant.

And the forced birth party is doing a bang up job of making sure that women can’t afford pregnancies. They support business and the “free market,” they will countenance absolutely no meaningful help that would help lift women out of poverty. They hate any kind of food aid. They’re opposed to birth control, they stopped the Colorado program that gave teenagers IUDs and absolutely tanked the unplanned pregnancy rates (and hence reduced the abortion rates, too). Forced birthers hate sexual education unless it’s “Jesus said never have sex.”

Forced birthers truly just want to punish women for being women, but especially any woman who has sex.

Women who have sex and then are shocked they are pregnant sound utterly terrible. Have sex all you want, use birth control to prevent pregnancy. Simple.

That’s great in a world in which all birth control methods are 100% effective with typical use. This is not that world.

So, exactly what I said. Thanks for verifying.

Also not mentioned yet in this thread is the other risk of pregnancy:
20% of pregnant women experience domestic abuse. Unplanned pregnancy increases that risk. Also leading cause of death for pregnant women is murder. Your risk of being murders once your pregnant rise 16%.

But dumb sluts are dumb. So… it’s not healthcare.

The forced birther on here is just proving that they hate women and don’t care who gets hurt in their sadism toward women.

Sex education is abysmal. Rape kits aren't being tested.

But this is a lot of women! there are more than a million abortions per year in the US alone. If one percent are from rape, that is still more than 10K a year. Over a 10 year period, that would mean over a million women were forced to give birth from rape. that should HORRIFY you.

Then add on failed birth control - birth control largely works, but when you are looking at tens of millions of women a year who use highly effective birth control, even a 1% failure rate means again millions of women a year are getting pregnant who are doing the right thing and using birth control responsibly.

+1 and remember that no one is perfect. You have to follow imperfect stats. Although even near perfect use is hundreds of thousands of unplanned pregnancies.

By this logic, it would be reasonable to ban skiers from getting broken legs set. Because it's a known consequence of skiing... something that is done today nearly 100% of the time for no other reason than pleasure.

It’s not simple. Also abortion will always be. You can’t stop it. Women have been terminating pregnancies for a millennia. But maybe that’s your goal? Force women into back alleys to bleed out? Is that your plan? They are stupid and deserve it?

That’s the plan. Get them to bleed out, get them to develop sepsis, get them to die, leave their children motherless.

Also the plan is to make late term abortions totally impossible to find instead of merely incredibly difficult, you know, just to twist the knife for those women whose planned and wanted pregnancies are doomed.

Gotta make sure that even ectopic pregnancies can’t be aborted. Women shouldn’t have had sex - what’s that you say, they wanted to get pregnant? Who cares, ‘uck ‘em, they’re just women.

And it’s their plan to make sure that birth control is no longer available - have to make sure maximum women are injured.

It’s all about the cruelty and the misogyny.

You are literally saying "die it out." Even fundies like yourself believed that sex is part of the lifestyle for married people. If the woman has an ectopic pregnancy - how is that is a lifestyle choice? Cuckoo for cocoa puffs.

These are all actual laws and policy decisions forced birthers have made. You think I enjoy the handmaiden’s hellscape the GOP wants?

You seem to think that consent to sex is the same as consent to pregnancy and birth. That’s not the case.

Women don’t know sex may result in pregnancy? Next you will say overeating will cause women to be fat, and they didn’t consent to the calories.

Where is the personal responsibility? Pregnancy can be prevented. Quit pretending women are dumb and/or helpless. Termination of pregnancy isn’t healthcare. Health care takes place in a medical clinic or hospital. Abortion clinics don’t provide that; they provide abortion.

The only 100% effective way of preventing pregnancy is abstinence. I dont know about you, but my DH wouldn't be a fan of that particular choice.
Every other method of birth control can fail. I know women who have gotten pregnant on the pill, with a IUD, using condoms, etc.
And you are completely ignoring risks to a women's health (see Missouri's recent attempt to outlaw treatment for ectopic pregnancy).
