ODAC?

Old Dominion Athletic Conference (Lynchburg, Washington and Lee, Randolph-Macon).

Incorrect. That team has TWO kids going to the ODAC (Lynchburg). No other kids going to that conference from that team.

Why the huge discrepancy?

Have you looked at the number of women's college programs versus the men's?

Guess its a much better sport for girls, and their parents, to put time and money into. How refreshing.

For NCAA sports almost across the board, there are much better opportunities for girls.

What are the other D3 conferences that offer good academics and lacrosse?

Do you weight those equally? SMH

Centennial for sure. Capital has some great teams, but some of the school snobs might not consider a lot of the schools in the conference to be "good." The conference that Denison plays (NCAC) in has some really good academic schools, and the lacrosse is getting better in part because of heavy east coast recruiting, although Denison is still the dominant team and there are some really weak teams like Oberlin.

Women play NCAA sports, not girls, you neanderthal.

The Liberty League has very competitive lacrosse and is also very good academically in D3 (RIT, RPI, Clarkson, Vassar, Skidmore, Union, et al). Some teams are better than others, obviously, and some schools have better academic reputations than others as well; but, generally a good conference for both. All of the schools are located in New York.

Allegheny College is also in that conference. It might not quite be in the Denison/Kenyon/Oberlin level in terms of academics, but it is a lovely school. And, they are starting a lacrosse team in 2020. Just another option for anyone looking at good D3 liberal arts schools that can also provide a college lacrosse playing experience.
