What year was the goalie that left The Heights and went to Landon?

Goalie is a current senior but started Landon as a junior

A kid from the heights committed to Albany, transfers out and is now enrolled at Saint Andrews? Saint Andrew's would get beat easily by the Heights. Not sure if that is true as it doesn't make much sense.

Last year The Heights beat St Andrew's 13 - 6, and one of The Heights best offensive player leaves for St Andrew's. It may not make sense to some, but it is true.

Kids leave schools for a variety of reasons: for behavioral reasosn, for more competitve sports, for a better fit academically, because they fail out, because they are unhappy socially, etc...

May not make much sense if the only thing you are fixated on is winning and losing at lacrosse.

Saint Andrews has better academic reputation than the Heights and much better facilities. Getting families to stay or look at the Heights is a tough sell if you are not into the Opus Dei thing.

Lax season is not too far off. Curious whether all private schools start off with an off-campus trip/camp, and if so, where.

National Signing Day was yesterday.

How many lacrosse players from the IAC schools, Gonzaga, Dematha, Good Counsel, PVI, Flint Hill and Potomac signed?

The season (practices at least) starts before spring break. A spring break trip is standard -- could be FL, VA (Charlottesville area), CA -- have seen all of those destinations.

I believe STA in the past has gone to Florida under the old coach.

Gonzaga recently did a trip to Arizona or Texas.

Can't speak for Prep or Landon but I believe they stay local and either give their kids some time off or have a few practices.

A pretty good resource is "Recruiting Rundown" by Ty Xanders. Use "control F" as your search. Landon is loaded with 2017 commits -- more than any of the other schools as far as seniors -- including four guys going to one program (U.S. Naval Academy -- good for them!).

Landon should be very good this year - or at least it looks that way on paper.

I think this could be the year Paul VI cracks the WCAC and knocks of Gonzaga. I was most impressed with PVI this Fall.
