What’s the longest you’ve dated/stayed with someone just because the sex was good?

First situation was a very average looking woman who was super intelligent and had an innate understanding of what turns a man on. She had also slept with 15 guys before I came along so apparently had a lot of practice. This lasted a year. Second was a schoolteacher who once in bed had the vocabulary of a porn star. For some reason her profession was a turn on. This was for six months and ended when I met my wife.

Very true. I'm in a relationship now for 6 years that I only stay in for the sex. And she sex is amazing. Still amazing after all this time. She would like to get married while I hold off on even agreeing to live together because I know we would not be happy. We've had too many serious arguments and break-ups over issues that don't get resolved, but the sex keeps bringing me back. I've never stayed in a relationship just because the sex was good but then again I've never been in a relationship where the sex was mind blowing which may be my fault, not just his. I've been married 24 years and we have a very good sex life and I adore my husband so I'm very happy but I'm sure he wishes I was wilder in bed (I do give BJ's and other fun things!) but I'm not a moaner or a sexual acrobat. I do wonder if women are like that or if that is just a guys dream.

Three months. Unreal chemistry but there was a 10 year age difference and besides having a great body she wasn’t attractive at all. We also were very different. We did things that I still think about when I’m doing DW. I was in my early 30s and she started wanting to meet my friends and take things to the next level. I couldn’t keep doing that and found good sex with other people and broke up with her.
