Ch Ch MD - prettiest dream house I've seen in years

It's pretty trendy. For that kind of money, I'd think someone would want a much more classic home.
Not that it isn't lovely but it's not $4.3million lovely at all.

Yeah, if I had to live in Kenwood, I would demand an old school den for wayward private school teenagers in which to have awkward formative experiences.

For that you get the Volvo.

We were LMC, so I had to get by with a Chrysler LeBaron. Plush seats though ...

It looks cold and hard.

I AM a fan of white on white on white, but it works better with warm, creamy whites and lots of textures and textiles.

What’s up with the 5x9 “office”?

I know it’s staged, but I didn’t get one warm feeling from the whole place. It all looked cold and unwelcoming

Well, I’m sure anyone who’s interested in a house that has a “viewing space” into the kids play area is probably pretty hands off in all matters of maintain a house or being involved in messy kids activities

This is an excellent point.

I like to think that the cold decor invites warmth from a potential buyer. Like the house and the location is great. It’s overpriced....but why not throw it out there hoping for a fool and their money.

"Wayward private school teenagers" PP back. Kenwood has always been a hotbed of large American vehicles, including in the 1970s and 1980s when I was experiencing its dens so frequently. To me, this new build lacks even the appeal of those places.

You would think hotter
Agent for such a high end house

Ugly start white - I would not pay even 500K for this home

Cold, unwelcoming, a caricature of Restoration Hardware.

Cold, cheap, with no style.
Recessed whites, MDF cabinets, builder's grade materials throughout.

Not mine. I hate the exterior and that white antiseptic kitchen. It’s not a creamy white.

Definitely done on the cheap. No tile behind bathroom sinks, no molding, not frameless glass shower doors (those are off the shelf tracks from HD), no molding, bad color flooring, no real closet fit outs, etc.
