The decorator that staged this house was brilliant, especially when he put that straight jacket in the basement to scare off all the stepford wives with no style.

Who builds a house in Kenwood with the intent of scaring off Stepford wives? Have you been to Kenwood? Do you have any clue what the prescribed style in Kenwood is?

Oh, you can have anything prescribed in Kenwood.

Wow, I love this home hard. It may look monochromatic and "cold" to some, but bring in a few pops of color yourself and voila!

It will be open again this weekend if you haven't been. I am OP and truly not realtor - or anyone involved but despite all the flames - I still love this house!!!

It's not the color most folks on this thread are objecting to - it is the lack of finishes that you would expect at this price point. Every single room of this house looks exactly like a $800K flip, except there are just more rooms. But not nicer touches.

PP-
Yeah, I get that. On the other side, so many of those touches are wasted on gaudy finishes and materials that only appeal to a smaller minority. I can't disagree that the price doesn't necessarily equal the work that was done here, but I still love it!
