The difference is that the Right is curtailing freedoms through the government: local, state and federal.

The Left is not using the State to enact and enforce, these are guidelines and curricula but not written in stone and therefore easier to evade and dismantle.

You have the right to speak, but the problem you on the right seem to have trouble understanding is that free speech is not a one way street. You have the right to say what you want, but others also have the right to speak, and to counter what you said. THAT is how free speech works.
