| Our felllon-on-the-run kids would be screwed. We have $23 cash between us this evening and a very large jar of change that sits in our home office. |

I think the FBI is playing mind games with him and applying pressure- get him to re- create for them where Brian went in past and have show of force out there “ looking “ where the Dad says while basically humiliating him and having their experts watch his body language and facial expressions So disgusting these parents pretend to not know where their son in - what mother & father who believed their son was out in an alligator infested swamp wouldn’t be out there every day looking - such transparent liars |
Brian in a wanna be douche who wouldn’t last 6 months south of the border. Why ? He has a personality disorder- he can’t get along with anyone . He couldn’t even make work with a beautiful girl who loved him . He is dead meet in the rough company of kidnappers, drug runners and human traffickers who hate Gringos |
Wouldn’t it be the opposite though? If you are on the run don’t you want to self-isolate? The more people you are in contact with, the more likely someone would make a match. |
Exactly, which is why a Gringo who can’t speak the language ( and is likely too dumb to learn it ) will stick out like a sore thumb. Once the gang leaders spot him they will likely try to squeeze his highly publicized parents for some cash and when they are dissatisfied with the little the parents actually have - bullet in the head and into some random Mexican ditch he goes Or, at-least we can hope His parents seem not to care much that this is likely his fate |
Even the drug lords probably would just off him for sport. |
I mean, I’m a nanny and make 60k a year and have 25k in cash in a safe at home. I’m very frugal and save as much as I can in my limited income. Condo is paid off. It’s possible, if you make sacrifices. I’m one of the DCUM poors and I have cash. |
I think people mean that they have plenty of liquid cash to access quickly- in the bank- but few people have thousands of dollars hidden in their home. It doesn't mean they don't have savings it just means theyre using bank for them instead of a box under the mattress |
| Have they checked into whether the parents had a life insurance policy on Brian or Gabby? |
Exactly. I’d have most of that in some sort of account, even one earning a slight bit of interest is better than sitting in a safe. |
Where's the probable cause? I'm certainly no expert and would love to hear from others with experience, but an arrest warrant was not issued until Sept. 23rd. Brian was long gone by then. Is it criminal to help your son disappear when he isn't subject to an arrest warrant? I don't think it is. Even if Brian told them he had a role in Gabby's death I am not sure that rises to the level of a crime. I think the FBI can easily get a warrant for Brian's phone, bank records, etc. and they likely have. But his parents are a degree removed legally speaking. I am certain the FBI is seeking every possible way to charge the parents with something. If Brian stays missing I think they will use 18 USC 1001 - lying to a federal agent to exert pressure. |
| I think he's either in another country, hiding in a cupboard of their house, with other family, or roaming the outdoors. |
| Brian has still not been charged as a suspect for murder, as some here are mistakenly repeating. The warrant is for misuse of a debit card or bank account. If they had evidence he murdered anyone, don’t you think they the warrant would be for murder? Lots more to this story, I think. |
I'm betting he's dead somewhere along the border. I can't think of a better target than a white guy fugitive who can't speak the language and who is carrying cash. |
Are you under the impression that all warrants are made public? |
