She's claiming it was written before the trip, and just a light hearted note showing her love.
While obviously a lie, I think that anyone writing this kind of not to their child in any circumstance is messed up. Yes, I love you, BUT... If you murder someone, I'll visit you in prison, but I'm not "bringing you a shovel". |
It sounds like you know something. Who are your sources? |

This woman's letter has left me with steam coming out of my ears.
How DARE she? This was literally her future daughter-in-law. She and her disgusting husband took their turd boy camping when he came back to FL, stonewalled the terrified Petitos, and didn't give a damn about the anguish they were causing. We need to make her and her disgusting husband unemployed, wherever they work. F--- these accomplices to murder. They aren't parents. They aren't community members of any church or neighborhood they attempt to belong to. I very nearly had a MIL like this. In my youth, I dated a Brian Laundrie. Thankfully I broke up with him before I got raped or killed. His mom was jealous of any girl he got serious with and thought her sociopath son was the bee's knees. I recognize the Dirty Laundries for what they are. |
Does anyone else think that Brian Laundrie's mom sounds more like a criminal's groupie or wannabe wife?
You know those mothers who are in emotionally incestuous relationships with their sons, and clearly have issues? She sounds like that. Anyone else seeing what I'm seeing? |

+1000 Justice for Gabby's family. Frankly I hope Hell is real, just for people like the Dirty Laundries. May demons eat them. May they endure the worst and most depraved tortures for an eternity. |
His mom is now pretending she wrote this before the road trip. His parents belong in jail. |
| It’s like Jason Voorhees and his mom but real life. |
That bible passage is often read at weddings. I may never hear it the same way again <shudder> |
| "If you say you hate my guts, I'll get new guts."??? Wow. I see how Brian Laundrie turned out the way he did. |
| People should stand on the Laundries' driveway like they did in 2021 and loudly ask, "Did you want to f*** your son?"every time Roberta Laundrie comes out of the house. Would serve her right, and plus it's a valid and serious question. |
|
The only explanation that makes sense to me was that the girl found out something about the laundries that was heinous. The mom advised Brian to kill her. Whatever gabby knew was bad enough that they did not care if Brian also committed suicide.
I think that the laundries instigated Brian to kill GBby. Then they killed Jim and put his body to be eaten by animals. |
+1 It would be very interesting to learn more about her background and childhood. |
+1 Also good reason not to go into an affair with a married person, but that is a whole other thread (boiled bunnies be damned). |

Not sure if anyone’s seen the letter, there are photos online. Her handwriting is the icing on the cake of the insanity of the letter - it’s clear she’s stunted at like a middle school level of maturity. My guess is the husband is abusive with coercive control in the family and she worshiped the son as her savior. That’s my guess because I lived it, saw the sick dynamic play out with my mother and my brother. He became an abuser too, to girlfriends and later to multiple wives.
As a former domestic violence advocate it pains me to say it, but the women who stay have an active hand in perpetuating abuse from one generation to the next. I know that leaving is the most lethal time, but I strongly feel that every abused woman owes it to her children to try. |
