| great post!!! and soo true... |
| Not sure why everyone cares about bullis. people have legit concerns when a school like sidwell and admits academically underqualified applicants to boost its sports (ie josh hart). but bullis has no academic floor to speak of, so who cares. there is no reputation to compromise. |
Agree, I know a female athlete with a parent just like the one above and again, guess where she ended up........... |
| I know a kid that had offers from most privates, but took the "Full Ride" from the county school. |

Can we stop the how they got there discussion and get back to Lacrosse.
I’m going back to Bullis is the regular season champ, and Landon taking the title. I think SSSA and Prep can make a run as well and the playoffs are going to be insane. Comes down to who’s team has grown and learned the most come postseason. Having said that, it’s all coaching and the seniors on the team. Who’s 18s will lead the team? If someone says, “on paper, this team is better than that team” you automatically get disqualified. I don’t want your Ty Xanders paid opinion I want your team analysis opinion. |
| experiences with the sta team? |

STA will most likely struggled this year.
Their program has really fallen up for a number of years. They will struggled to finish out of last place in the IAC (given the top 4 teams, Bullis, Landon, GP, SS?SA will all be strong) Episcopal brought in several high profile players and I believe even a few Canadians to play. Look for EHS to be much improved this year. |

Best Goalie--Prep (with 2 Clarke and Van Slyke)
Best Attackman-- Joey Epstein (Landon) Best Attack Schain,Aronson, Shellenberger (Bullis) Best Midfielder. Miezan (Episcopal) Best Midfield Geppert, Johnson, Kurtz (Landon) Best Defender Giuerlieri (Prep) Best Defense Giuerli, Lanham, Cooney (Prep) Best FO Tyeryar (SSSA) Predicted finish 1 Landon 2 Prep 3 Bullis 4 SSSA 5 Episcopal 6 St Albans |
I agree with Attack and Midfield; not sure about the goalies throughout the league, so I don't have a comment; and, I agree that Giuleri is the best defender. He is special on and off ball. However, I think Bullis has the best defense - Fairbanks '18, Kazanjian '18, Rodgers '18, and White '19. That's a lot of seniors playing on one unit, and that means something at this level. Landon's group won't be shoddy either, with possibly 4 seniors playing there. I think Prep's group will be #1 next year, and their team will be fighting for #1 in the IAC as well. This year, I think the best defense and the best team will be between Landon and Bullis, with everyone else a distant third. Thanks for starting a productive discussion. |

| Best coach--Bordley |

Even with Rodgers I’d still go with Preps poles. I think Rodgers is a ‘19 btw we started SSSA doing his freshman year again.
I wouldn’t be surprised if SSSA and Prep were in the finals, that’s how close it is this year. But, I’m still going with a Bullis and Landon final for all the marbles. |

+1 on the coach. Goes a very very long way.
Having said that, there are several versions good coaches in the iac. And don’t sleep on ehs. They could make some noise. |
