Swimmers change in rec center locker rooms not FCPS locker rooms. Are you even from here? |
The radical femmes seem to be forcing themselves on others. They probably don’t even have kids. |
I agree that my DS has been well taught to be tolerant and inclusive of trans kids and that there are quite a few at his school, so he should be. He hasn't been taught to respect girls spaces *for girls* though - he doesn't see any problem with trans girls winning in girls sports because they're girls. |
Can you give us some examples (with FCPS) when children were forced to be around a pride parades and drag queen shows? |
Sure. Current members of the School Board were present and even took pictures where kids can be seen. Whether these kids were forced to attend by their guardians - or not- I can’t provide you with that information, but I can assure you that the members of the school board that represent kids were comfortable with it. At the rate we are heading with the progressives at the Board, and their refusal to respect parents wishes over their children’s boundaries with topics of sex, it’s only a matter of time before they will bring them to read to our kids. And no, I will no Google for you who and when was involved. Do it yourself! |
What about gay adults and bisexual adults? Do parents have a right to know the sexual orientation of chaperones too? Because that was what people like you were yelling about 15 years ago. (PS— no, you don’t have a right to find out the orientation of chaperones) Also, tell me you don’t have a kid in FCPS without telling me you don’t have a kid in FCPS. DH and I chaperone for three different overnight activities between 2 kids at 2 HSs. We has to do a background check through FCPS and submit fingerprints. There are po”Ivies that keep us from being alone in a room with a kid— same or opposite gender. And, we certainly don’t spend the night in the same room as a student or students. Also, the only scandals with sexual assault on field trips in FCPS that I’m aware of are heterosexual male student assuaging a young woman— see also the Oakton band trip and similar. |
This was during a SB meeting? Date? |
Current members of the school board are adults. They can choose to attend or not. Is there any allegation they took kids unrelated to them, without their parents permission? Because I see evidence you are upset because you disapprove of what what consenting adults did, evidence that you are upset that parents had the ability to parent in a way you disagree with (as you scream: parental choice!) but zero evidence FCPS exposed students to pride parades or drag queens, even with parental consent, let alone without it. And if a parent takes their child, why aren’t you all for parental control on these issues? The “State/local/parental control as long as I agree with the decisions” crowd is hypocritical and wearying. |
Men are more likely to rape women that women rape women. Are you for real? I don’t want a biological male adult in a room with my girl. Disgusting! |
So that’s a no, no kids were forced by FCPS. |
Pride Parade DC. Lots of ugly stuff going on there and at least one SB member was there. It was not just waving rainbow flags. |
And in FCPS no adult, male or female, will be alone in a hotel room with your DD or DS. For the adults protection and the kid’s. Certainly no adult will sleep in a room with your kid. So you can calm down now. |
This feels like a deflection. Are you deflecting from the fact that the FACTS are that no adults associated with FCPS took students to the parade? I personally find the March for Life gross. But unless FCPS teachers or Admin start taking students, it’s just another DC parade or protest I can ignore. See how that works. |
Ok back to the topic, fcps is breaking the state law. It will need to be debated whether FCPS as optional optional vs VDOE making it mandatory for parents to be involved is comprehensive. I don't think it is. Comprehensive would be if both the student and parent are notified. |
