Doctors should ask every parent at every appointment if there are guns in the home and how they are secured. There are things that could be done other than a blanket gun ban.

The child’s mother told FOX8’s Michael Hennessey the gun was placed in their truck on Saturday so the child’s father could put down an animal on the farm. On Sunday [the next day], the family was playing outside, the mom said. They needed to do some work on the farm and the child was in the truck with his father as they went to a garage on the property to get some equipment.

People need to go to jail. Period. Child protective services gets up in arms about free range parenting but these morons put themselves and their children at serious risk of death.
