I, for one, do not consider the price of these children's lives to be worth the benefit of having easy access to guns. I'm not advocating for elimination of all guns. I'm just saying that our society needs to make some changes to ensure guns are distributed, stored, and used more safely. Stop the senseless deaths of innocents.

Can you also post the picture of children who was killed by the way of abortion? All kids life meters.

Create your own goddamn thread, fucknuts.

So what's your point, drowning poster? As a PP said, we can work to prevent both.

Pools in urban areas at least have a primary purpose other than taking life. The only purpose for a gun is to shoot someone (or threaten to shoot someone).

The main purpose of a home pool is recreation. The main purpose of a gun is also recreation (hunting, shooting sports, target shooting, etc.).

Anything to get away from the OP's point.

Medicines save millions of lives. Guns just don't. If they did, our homicide rate would not be so high. And before you go blaming black people, if you take out all of their homicides we are still 2-4x as high as civilized countries.

May 28, 2016 -- A 5-year-old who accidentally shot herself after finding her father's handgun was remembered Friday at her preschool. Haley Moore was visiting her dad last Saturday when she found his handgun. Investigators said her father was taking a shower when he heard the gunshot. He ran to her aid and saw she had shot herself in the chest. Haley's classmates at the Garden of Eden Christian Academy held a celebration of life ceremony Friday in her memory.

To quote her: "or one, do not consider the price of these children's lives to be worth the benefit of having easy access to guns."

I think we can all agree that an accidental pediatric overdose is outweighed by the benefits of Medicine.

Statistically, you are safer without a gun in your home. That's a fact. For every person who fights off an intruder by having a gun in his or her home, there are hundreds of deaths from unintentional shootings, lovers quarrels, suicides, family disputes, etc. all because someone kept a gun in his or her home.
If you want to keep your home safe, get a dog and an alarm.

Thanks for posting these, OP. It won't change the gun crazies' minds, but it should serve as a reminder to the majority of us who support sensible gun laws to get off our butts and elect officials who are not in the pocket of the NRA (Paul Ryan, for example). We need to act to insist these laws are passed.
