Help me understand Republican women in their 30s and 40s

It's a grim vision for the women of America.

Well said. This sums it up for me too. Democrats thinking that all I care about is abortion is insulting. Especially when they actively deny my existence as a woman in so many other cases.

Democrats always think they own feminism. Nope. Look at the number of disrespectful comments here from liberals insisting GOP women are misled or following their husbands.

Sorry. You’re actively supporting the party that wants to erase women’s rights entirely. You are not a feminist.

And you are supporting the party that wants to erase women entirely. You are not a feminist either.

+100. One party wants to take away my right to decide my fate if I get pregnant. The other party wants to erase me entirely so men can steal my identity. Two awful choices, but erasing me in every aspect of life is worse. Dems can get bent.

This is nonsense. Acknowledging trans people isn’t “erasing” women.

It depends. If we are allowed to acknowledge that trans people have a biological sex that is different from the sex they would prefer, that isn't in conflict. If we are required to say, in polite society, that trans women are women, with no distinction at all from biological women, that is an issue for many people. And of course, if it is taken a step further and claimed that suggesting that sex is an immutable characteristic is criminal hate speech, that is a serious step toward the suppression of free speech, science, and religion in favor of state dogma.

The Democratic Party claims none of the bolded. Referring to trans women as women doesn’t mean you can’t acknowledge that they’re trans. It just means you shouldn’t call them men. I’m sure you understand the difference. And there is no Democratic policy in place to “criminalize” speech about sex as a biological characteristic. Some people have a gender that is different from their sex. That’s all.

NP. I will always refer to a man as a man and a woman as a woman. That’s a statement of fact. However the man and woman in question feel about that is between them and
their therapists. You will not force us to lie and then call it kindness.

Men are men because of their sex, not their gender.

They asked what you care about and you answered. Trump will likely lose and the abortion ban issue will be a large contribution to his loss. But abortion bans and all the related problems they cause is not important to you for some reason and that is that.

Men are men because they are male. Biology is real. I’m sorry that you want to be a woman, but you’re not and never will be.

No Trump will not likely lose. Unless you’re trying to tell us the fix is in and you know something we don’t?

Though I suppose it makes sense. If the Democrats want to reduce women to a series of body parts, perhaps they only care about uteruses. In this, the Democrats are at least consistent. So women who are fine being referred to as uterus-havers or front holes can vote for the party that sees them that way.

It’s not a one person loses or another person wins scenario, but it feels that way sometimes when we have limited attention and resources. And I get shut down when I say “what about me?”

I feel like traditional feminism is not popular. There is nothing wrong w JK Rawling’s positions . She was abused, she was divorced, she also struggled in this unfair, anti women world. She was a single mom. She earned a right to her opinion. Why did everyone jump all over her?

Everyone did not jump all over her. Some disagreed and some agreed.

She got and still gets a nearly endless stream of graphic rape and death threats from trans activists.

Ironically that response really just shows that she’s right to worry about violence against women and the importance of the preservation of single-sex spaces.

Abuse on anonymous chat forums is cheap and cowardly and scary. Why do so many women and men that are sexually assaulted never report?

Ugly behavior comes out when you don't have to reveal your identity. Why do racist thugs often wear hoods when the strut around with their torches? What's wrong folks...why can't we see who you are?

How often do you see racist thugs holding torches?

Why do people churn out their ugly abuse anonymously? It almost seems as if they think their might be wrong with their behavior?

What?

He lost the EC last time around and the popular vote by almost 10 percent. He has done more to drive away voters than attract new voters. Many elections since 2020 have seen his endorsed candidates fail and his anti roe policies fail as well. But if your analysis of that that leads you to see him winning then ok I guess.

Stop gaslighting. Even on this site, we are warned not to use the "transphobic" term "biological women." You can say there is no "Democratic policy" to criminalize free speech, which is incorrect (every senate Democrat supported the Democracy for All bill that sought to curtail free speech). But politics is downstream from culture. Meaning that first they get everyone warm to an idea, and then they make it law. Ask yourself, if you could ban speech that would criminalize acknowledging that trans women aren't biological women, would you?

We all know the answer to that question, don’t we?

Explain Republican women? He tried to overturn an election and wants to send troops to Democratic cities. Do you know what that would you cause? How f'ing stupid can you be to vote for him?
