Its Prep parents are bitching. Prep has been dormant the past few years, coming in 3rd and 4th place.
The Bullis 2016 team was actually comprised of homegrown kids. I actually thought that Bullis team might have been one of the best this area has seen in a while. |
Sounds like someone had a bad experience with tryouts - it happens. All starters back and they added a few new players from Hawks, 3D and Bitmore...and cut a few from prior year. |
sounds like DCE is "daddy ball" all over again

That is sad if Bullis has chosen to go down that route. Their football team certainly doesn't look like your typical independent school roster filled with neighborhood kids. |
Yeah, so many BLACK KIDS that it's frightening. That's what really bothers Landon and Prep moms and dads. How dare they attract African-Americans, particularly from PG County and other parts of Maryland. That's not how Landon and Prep families want to see the IAC represented. The hypocrisy is unbelievable. Think about the Landon assistant, where he came from, and the kids he's been recruiting to Landon (and the result this year). But as long as it's not TOO many black kids - then it's ok. |
| Bullis should be thrown out of the IAC!! |
Right on! How dare they allow so many people of color in their school. It makes the Bears nervous! |

This has nothing to do with race, maybe that is just in your heard.
My sons football team didn't have one transfer on its roster this Fall. For the most part they won with the kids who have been at the school since lower, middle and came in as freshman. You are either delusional or maybe just far removed from HS athletics but rest of the IAC schools are getting sick and tired of the Bullis administration bringing in transfers left and right to reload their athletic teams. How many football transfers did Bullis bring in this summer? 5? 10? Whatever the number maybe, its un-precedented for most private schools. This is not Texas High School Football. Bullis is at a point where they should either choose to tone down the recruiting, if not, they should just go play an independent schedule. |
What Landon assistant and where did he come from? |
Great job beating the "B" versions of those teams. That was the Sweetlax Rochester team - not its national team, and Hawks Black - again a "B" team. |
| Bullis can keep recruiting this way all it wants. It just makes them look bad and they still can’t win as many championships as it should. Bunch of underachievers across the board |
| Bullis keeps letting in all these NASA engineers/PGCounty feetsball players..lol |
| I keep hearing that Bullis is recruiting players for sports, but in the IAC no one receives athletic scholarships. So it seems to me that students are looking for a better opportunity academically and athletically. Also if this brings diversity to a school it seems that everyone wins. Those that have been critical of Bullis offering opportunity and diversity may be be just looking for an opportunity to put another school down for no real reason. |

| Bullis does offer money to families with good athletes even if they don't need it. I know firsthand. |
