It has to be related Gabby’s or an unknown person.

But if they said they authorized him to use it doesn’t that require them to admit they helped him either evade arrest or that they currently know where he is?

Yeah I’m guessing the FBI twisted the parents’ arms to get that warrant. The parents had to claim that he was not authorized to use it or else they would get some sort of aiding/abetting charge.

Why would he have had his parents’ card the entire time they were on the trip but not used it until just before he returned? It makes much more sense that it was Gabby’s card.

Then that means someone has seem him. He's going down.

I would take this kind of rumor with a huge grain of salt.

Where’d you see that? I just checked his Twitter page and just see the video of him about to go out in the water.

NP

A sheriff helicopter headed out to the island after Dog.

Then the police asked a news company to pull a story until they update them.

Then the police scanner went quiet. Not staticky, completely quiet.

Now everyone is waiting

Wait...you're telling me Dog showed up a WEEK AGO and suddenly got the guy? Maybe he should be running the state police for three districts and not whoever the idiots are now.

Is there actually a warrant out for Brian? Under what authority would Dog be apprehending him?

Well murder rings a bell…

That’s not a warrant for arrest based on a murder charge. But more to the point - Dog is a private citizen? What authority does he have to effect an arrest?

Do you not know what a bounty hunter is? Oh dear sweet one...

Oh dear sweet one a bounty hunter can only “hunt” a person if somebody skips on a “bond”. This is not the case, nobody posted bond, so Dog is not working as a bounty hunter.

No, a bounty hunter can also try to catch a criminal for the reward money (aka bounty). Doesn’t have to be a bond. You’re thinking of a bail bondsman.

Hence the name 'Dog the Bounty Hunter'. That kid is worth about $30,000 in pure cash capture dead or alive at this point. Plus whatever reward fees the community was offering.

Makes more sense than 'Eghhh, an alligator's got him. Let's call off the search.'

Just read on Google news that investigators working with Dog are searching parts of the Appalachian Trail where sightings have been reported, and they’re also contacting backwoods communities to be on the lookout and check game cameras etc.

See, this is the kind of comment that disgusts me. "Capture dead or alive" -- wtf. There is absolutely no authority or justification for killing him. Let the FBI arrest him and let him be tried in court.

If you, or his parents, want him arrested and coddled maybe you should walk his truant behind into a local police station.

Its $30K for the bounty and $170K from the community apparently. Lots of unscrupulous hunters - bounty and otherwise - are after that cash.

So basically it’s a lynch mob. Got it. I didn’t realize that abiding by the rule of law was “coddling.” Thanks for clearing that up.

+1! Stop the boring long arguments. I'm here for new details. I want Brian captured any way possible so he has consequences. I hope his parents have to answer for their cold behavior and possible involvement.

A bounty hunter is a private agent working for a bail bonds man who captures fugitives or criminals for a commission or bounty. The occupation, officially known as bail enforcement officer, bail enforcement agent, bail agent, recovery agent, bail recovery agent, or fugitive recovery agent, has traditionally operated outside the legal constraints that govern police officers and other agents of the state. This is because a bail agreement between a defendant and a bail bondsman is essentially a civil contract that is incumbent upon the bondsman to enforce.

The dog’s daughter reported they think they found his campsite yesterday and personal items.

Exactly. I read the FBI or police backed her into a corner with the questioning. She had to admit she didn’t give permission or be held responsible for helping. They used this to create a warrant for his arrest.

Please correct me if I’m wrong.

The dates, according to the charging documents, for the unauthorized charges (over $1000 worth) were made before he returned to Florida. So presumably before his parents started “aiding and abetting” him. I think it was Gabby’s card.

It was confirmed as Gabby's card ages ago. I wish people would stop making things up. He took Gabby's debit/credit card after she disappeared and used it as he was traveling towards Florida. I believe for gas. Either way - she didn't either authorize the usage and neither did her parents which makes it bank fraud. Hence the warrant.
