Can you imagine any former fcv players getting coached by Niko? What a time to be alive.

They’ll be coached by CC and the other former FCV coaches on the staff

BP and CC coached all the GA teams. BP is not going to VAR.

No but there are other former FCV coaches already at VAR and probably more coming

No, has always been a first team coach and has developed major names in soccer including Emily Fox.

CC is part of the Boys side at Revolution now however.

Clubs and coaches don’t develop players.

But coaches like Niko can certainly tear them down.

CC got involved w/ FCV starting around 2013. Emily Fox committed to UNC in 2014. She was more from the Terry Foley days of FCV.

Oh please there are much worse coaches in the area than Niko! What a ridiculous statement.

I was told that the MYS and SYC "partnership" to form VA Union will be ending and SYC is "planning" to go to GA. No idea if they have been or will be accepted into GA but that's what I was told.

The St James is close to Springfield.

Great Falls is close to McLean.

FCV is close to Evergreen.

All the parents/players who have left his teams over the past few years would say otherwise. But I'm sure you know better...

So it seems Revolution is close to finalizing their GA charter. And with CC and other coaches going over. Players will most likely follow. This is a question for the group. If this does indeed happen how long will it take for Revolution to build their brand (i.e. get invited to play in notable tournaments in the higher brackets, get invited to GA Champions Cup etc.) Will the tournament selection committees and others take into consideration that Revolution is FCV rebranded or will they not care?

Revolution will be the new FCV North as long as Revolution can show to the GA that they have retained the majority of the players/teams. Invitations will follow without a doubt. GA needs strong teams and FCV North (to be rebranded as Revolution) has some of the strongest teams in GA.

Unclear what you are talking about. "[f]inalizing their GA charter." What does that mean? That GA is going to admit them? That is all up to GA. GA is by far the second rate program for girls. People I would think try to get to one of the ECNL programs. If not then maybe they try for this. No they will nto play at higher brackets until they prove themselves -- 2-5 years? They would not be a FCV rebrand -- they would be a new club.

I was told that the Girls Academy League will need to accept Revolution into the league. And yes, I understand that most people's opinion is that ECNL is a better league. Taking that out of consideration, thank you for answering the question. So essentially it will in your opinion take 2-5 years to build the Revolution brand.
