STJ bought FCV (and other clubs in other sports) because they have morphed from a gym into a youth sports facility. They are investing a ton of money to have teams competing in elite leagues across all sports. If a former employee tried to take GA with them, STJ has the resources to litigate. How many clubs in the area have the resources to defend themselves, does BP have those resources?

Well the current rumor is that he would leave for VDA which is ECNL. I haven't seen any rumblings beyond that where he could land at a club that would want into GA.

Not going to happen even though VDA would benefit as a program to be run in a way that FCV GA is. The programs are run completely differently. For parents in the know, training environments for players is a good example. I've seen how they are at VDA with parents littered around the field vs FCV and can't imagine the clash of ideologies.

Sorry -- what are you talking about? GA decides where GA goes. Same as ECNL. There are no rights that can be sued over. FCV does not own a thing related to GA. GA grants membership and they can take it away --- it is solely up to them and it is a year to year thing. In any event there would be no cause of action if GA granted say SYC membership. FCV could not sue them for what GA did. The real person to sue would be GA and there would be no claim.

Get a clue? Lol you have no idea the type of shit that goes down with these leagues nor do you understand politically how things work. Would GA abandon FCV immediately if BP left? Maybe not but if GA doesn't think FCV would be a player in their league with BP leaving, they would certainly open up the spot for bidding for elsewhere.

You don't think an employer can sue a former employee for using contacts at their new job to adversely effect their old employer? Most clubs are run on a shoe string. STJ is a large private equity backed business.
