They don't even have a girls team in every age group from U13-U18/19. And the teams that they do have are generally bottom feeders in EDP. If the GA accepts them based on the teams that they currently have (and are responsible for having "developed"), then the GA must be incredibly desperate.

The best thing Revolution has going for them is a wealthy parent who's willing to invest large sums of money into the club. CC was a very good hire and obviously he's well-connected and knows how the landscape of youth soccer works. If the TSJ were to decide that they're open to the idea of selling off FCV, Revolution would be all over that because that's the only way they will be able to get that kind of talent and player count. And I'm sure CC is connected enough to explain to the GA that it's "still FCV, just under the Revolution name". Now whether they would retain all or large a portion of the FCV players in that scenario would obviously be the big question.

If they structured it in a way such that CC was charge of those teams (multiple other FCV staff are there already) and Niko was put in a corner and told, "Hand's off!", I could see that working. But I'm not sure Niko's ego could suffer that.

Don’t know if this scenario is based on real knowledge or speculative, but it would actually explain why FCV hasn’t replaced any of the GA coaches yet. Wouldn’t hire if it’s folding

BP and CC coached all the GA teams. BP is not going to VAR.
