Yeah, I also feel sorry for teens (13, 14, 15) with a Hollywood royalty dad, living in multiple mansions full of servants, attending the best private schools, who can go to college they want... and will inherit a fortune.

I feel sorry for kids who grow up piss poor in Appalachia and Baltimore ghettos. Not teen silver spoons in California whose parents are merely divorcing.

My view: he should buy her a house in his neighborhood so kids can easily go to/from each parent’s home. He should cover kids’ education expenses and set up a trust for them. Then give the ex-wife a flat number, say $20M for the rest of her life.

Eliminate the monthly alimony.

His wife should really talk with Rupert Murdoch’s ex-wife, who got her kids first in line for inheritance. I guarantee Costner will have more kids because he doesn’t wear rubbers, he’s sleazy like that.

He has only had one child outside of a marriage and his youngest is 13 so it seems he has mastered some form of birth control.

Why would he give her 20M? His financial obligation is to the kids, not his ex wife. A house - sure. And pay all kids expenses.

A "contract is a contract" for Tiger Woods and his six year live-in girlfriend, whom he made quit her career. She can't even talk because of the NDA. But who cares, a contract is a contract, right?

But a "contract is NOT a contract" for Costner and his ex-wife? It's not like Costner is denying child support. He's paying for everything plus six-figures a month in child support.
