No kids don’t need “roughly equivalent home”. |
He's worth 400 million and she gets 1 million? |
His “worth” has nothing to do with what she gets. If you want money, make it. |
You keep posting that rumor but he has denied it. https://www.tmz.com/2023/05/04/kevin-costner-yellowstone-crew-member-pregnant-false-rumor/. |
Their ridiculously lavish lifestyle grosses me out and I’m not feeling a whole lot of sympathy for either of them on that front, but -
After having been a fan of Costner’s since American Flyers, I will never watch another things he makes and I hope his big obsession project Horizon is as big a bomb as Waterworld. His behavior in this divorce has revealed him to be controlling and mean, most notably in telling his children about the impending divorce via a 10 minute zoom call without their mom present. That’s all I need to know about Costner to put him on the shelf with Cruise and Gibson and a few others I cannot stomach anymore. |
You don't think one parent needs to be available if the other one is frequently at work and/or out of town? Who takes care of the kids? |
Kids need at least one parent to be at home if the other one is often away. |
So? $38K child support to take care of your own children. |
Judge could throw out pre nup and then she’d be entitled to 1/2 in California. I would think it would be less risky for him to be more generous with her and just settle dispute. |
He didn't want anymore children though, right? But didn't want to lose her so agreed to it?
Doesn't sound like a great guy to marry and have kids with. |
False. She helped him make that money. She gets more than 1/4 of 1%. |
I don't 'keep' doing anything that's the first time I have ever posted in this forum about Kevin Costner. TMZ is in all the male celebrities' pockets. They are always giving them favorable news coverage. |
Or even just, he's earned X over the course of the marriage, and she only gets $1m? I think that part of the prenup is unfair. I would expect a better property settlement, at least $4m (which is ~ 1% of his estate). |
She’s greedy. |
Agree. Also he must have been so awful to live with that she is willing to leave and give up a lot. He strikes me as mean. So weird that they didn’t purchase any new homes in an almost 18 year marriage-smells of trying to make sure your partner has no means to walk away. If they had purchased a home she would be allowed half the money of a sale. He should give her a normal settlement for a famous and rich couple and find another young thing to help him as he ages. |
