Recurring characters of DCUM, as written by a DCUM veteran

There are a few very paranoid people in NOVA that seem fixated on being kidnapped by organized gangs of human traffickers. Like your family will just get snatched from Target in broad daylight.

Wait. That is all the same person?

You. The endlessly perseverative conservative Christian with the faux persecution complex who never, ever shuts up about the supposed “pair of atheists,” and who refuses to move on to a site where they actually have a forum specifically for Christians to discuss among themselves, because then you’d lose your opportunity to play the victim.

-not an atheist, Episcopalian

Newsflash: I’m Episcopalian too, and this is the very first time I’ve pointed out the pair of atheist haters. Although there’s someone else who does that and they may be conservative, but I don’t know that.

Tell me you’re OK with this pair that derails so many threads with, let’s call it what it is, bigotry, and who start so many hateful threads?

Why do you think it's a "pair" of posters?

Why aren't you making the same comments about the atheist-hater threads/comments?

Many of you sound mentally unwell and terminally online.

Are you brunch granny? Because it seems obvious that one or two of you crazies are force meme’ing this. It is not even funny. But I guess that’s what you fill your days and nights with when you’re single and childless.

Any others?

The bolded drives me crazy. So annoying.

They always misspell words in British uni terminology (like “Michaelmas”) and get corrected but they continue to

It is spelled Michaelmas. It’s the fall term at a number of British universities

I know. The poster pp is referring to usually spells it wrong.

and you remember that years later? You REALLY need to get a life. Start with your envy problem.

LOL. Brunch granny is one of the most entertaining aspects of DCUM. Even the "geriatric" moms like me love to laugh at her nonsense. DP.

Because I’m tired of going to the religion forum and seeing a thread like “Don’t Catholic girls’ communion dresses creep you out?” The moderator cleaned that one up a bit but it’s still there near the top. So obviously I think that other poster might must have a point.

A question for you: Why do you think the near-daily abuse of religion and Catholics is OK?

(And again, I’m not Catholic)

So you are OK with the Atheist-hater threads. Maybe you are the one who starts them?
