What about THIS!" as they consult their book of logical fallacies and throw around Latin terms they don't understand, all to go around in pointless circles. They should just accept that they are yin to the other's yang.

Why do you presume “guys”?

Not PP but men usually identify themselves as such. They get more respect in the responses by doing that

-Brunch granny
-Oxford DPhil parent in the college forum
-Poster who has multiple full-time jobs (J1, J2, J3) at once in the jobs forum
-Poster who keeps saying the US is becoming “like Brazil”

Any others?

The bolded drives me crazy. So annoying.

They always misspell words in British uni terminology (like “Michaelmas”) and get corrected but they continue to

It is spelled Michaelmas. It’s the fall term at a number of British universities

PP said “presume” so those posters didn’t identify themselves as male or female.

The people on entertainment who think that they KNOW celebrities. Even if they’ve never met.

Anonymous wrote:Trope lady

The person who thinks “trope” is some kind of amazing SAT word only used by one poster.

Anonymous wrote:Has anybody mentioned the pair of atheists who hate it when anybody talks about Christianity, and really, really hate it when somebody talks about Catholicism? They plus one each others' unoriginal insults, it's almost tragic.

You. The endlessly perseverative conservative Christian with the faux persecution complex who never, ever shuts up about the supposed “pair of atheists,” and who refuses to move on to a site where they actually have a forum specifically for Christians to discuss among themselves, because then you’d lose your opportunity to play the victim.

-not an atheist, Episcopalian

The restricted diet poster. He/she comes into threads about health and espouses an extremely restricted diet, even claiming that orange juice is worse than soda. But unjuiced oranges are healthy.

Newsflash: I’m Episcopalian too, and this is the very first time I’ve pointed out the pair of atheist haters. Although there’s someone else who does that and they may be conservative, but I don’t know that.

Tell me you’re OK with this pair that derails so many threads with, let’s call it what it is, bigotry, and who start so many hateful threads?

PS, I’m also not conservative, very far from it.
