so many changes

He went to the doctor in the middle of the night? Or he went to the hospital?

no hospital - Now it's the doctor, with rope around his neck, phone in one hand, and sandwich in the other - accompanied by his choreographer.

this story from the beginning felt off to me. He went from "they tied a rope around my neck and poured something on me", to "the fight lasted 60 seconds, my ribs weren't cracked AND I was able to hold on to my Subway sandwich and cellphone"....and that happens to be the only 60 seconds not caught on CCTV.

And no surveillance video (that we know of) shows him being followed or the aftermath of the “attack”

of the two "thugs" who allegedly attacked him

and of him entering a building (unclear - hotel or his apartment?) after his attack, with rope around neck and sandwich in hand

ribs NOT broken, just bruised

But isn't it painful to sing and dance with bruised ribs?

Lol so fake

I don't think *his* story is changing, I think it's the media putting out all these versions of the story and sites are running with them.

It's unbelievable the amount of victim blaming going on in this thread.

Given the number of cameras in that area, I’m struggling with the lack of corroborating evidence for his story, outside of his manager’s statement(s).

I find his story very suspicious....

and you're so ready to believe his story because of his demographics.

I agree the media may not be accurately reporting the facts. They are usually better at reporting facts when they are clear and straightforward.

I saw an article saying he could be seen on camera walking around outside his apartment / hotel, then he went out of sight of the camera for 60 seconds and when he came back into the frame he had the rope around his neck.

I also read on a gossip site - so potentially completely untrue - that he had been at a gay bar and hit on a married guy. Confrontation took place and two guys followed him out of the bar and there was a brief physical altercation and potentially a drink was thrown on him at some point.

I believe he was attacked at some point that evening. However, with the police going public with a very strange statement that says "we don't have anything that you would expect to have in this situation", it doesn't add up. I think he knows more than we have heard about about the attackers, and I wouldn't be surprised if he may have embellished on some of the things allegedly said to him.

interesting, re: gossip site

would explain a lot - the liquid that didn't damage his clothes or skin
But was the married dude married to a woman and attending gay bars on the DL? And while stereotypical, I have a hard time seeing two gay men as "thugs" threatening anyone.

The rope thing is very confusing.

Um, no. Quick to doubt because his story is so fantastical that you’d have to be an idiot to believe it.

ok

I need to get out more, I guess.

Look - I think he was assaulted. But I think - as many others do - that he's hiding something. Was he beaten up for hitting on a taken gay guy and using a MAGA cover up? I don't think the truth will ever come out. It will be unsolved.
