Given the amount of cameras in this area of Chicago, I’m confident there is video of these individuals if they were in fact hanging out for hours. What I find very interesting is the fact that no video/stills of these folks have been released, particularly since the witness claims one of them had rope. I also find it interesting that the only POI the CPD have discussed are two individuals that don’t seem to match this witness’s clothing descriptions. If he was being stalked wouldn’t it be fairly obvious that someone was following close behind him on his walk to and from subway? Things that make me go hmm. |
It’s Chicago not NYC or DC. Their closed and solved cases rate is a national tragedy, what makes you think they have a good CCTV network in the first place? “...the nation’s third-largest city, which only cleared 26 percent of its homicides in 2016, is just one among many big cities struggling to quickly solve gun crimes, according to FBI data and crime experts. Last weekend in Chicago, more than 70 people were shot, including 12 fatally, but only a single arrest has been made so far from the dozens of shootings over a 60-hour period.” https://www.usatoday.com/amp/951681002 |
All bs. If i wait forever it will bc they are so deep into this fake story that he will never admit to what really happened. This lady saw a weirdo hanging out in the middle of the night, possibly talking to someone else?? Please. |
lol! level of hatred? on whose part? the posters asking questions or the "stalkers?" far too many holes in the dude's story Hell, even the police who was interviewed on the news had a hard time supporting the "victim." He had an intact sandwich in his hands after this alleged attack. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt early on, but this dude's story has enough holes to rival trypophobia. no thanks |
I guess you missed the post about Chicago's stellar camera system. Cameras catch everything. |
LOL BS Now you're using stats to support this man's story? He's apparently a star (although I had no clue who he was before this story broke). He's not in the same league as the "average" resident of Chicago. The process won't run the same way, as his case will stomp on the "unknowns." You want an answer to this really quickly? Get a warrant to search his phone. |
Bless your heart. Chicago has an 30,000+ cameras. |

His choreographer is now in the picture -

All while holding onto his phone and sandwich. |
He went to the doctor in the middle of the night? Or he went to the hospital? |
| His career is done. |
this story from the beginning felt off to me. He went from "they tied a rope around my neck and poured something on me", to "the fight lasted 60 seconds, my ribs weren't cracked AND I was able to hold on to my Subway sandwich and cellphone"....and that happens to be the only 60 seconds not caught on CCTV. |
well according to him, he "went to the doctor immediately". To me that means middle of the night. Hmm.... |
And no surveillance video (that we know of) shows him being followed or the aftermath of the “attack” |
