No whataboutism. William and Kate released their card FIRST and they immediately received photoshop criticism in the press. When Harry and Meghan released their card a few days later, their loyalists didn’t even need to see it to know what to say. The playbook has been the same for decades.

Kate Stans accusing Meghan of doing whatever Kate got bad press for has everything to do with this thread.

Kate and William released a card that was bashed for being photoshopped. Days later, when Harry and Meghan release their own card, the monarchy stans try to change the narrative. Kate didn’t use photoshop, Meghan’s card was AI and Lilibet is wearing a wig.

I really dont think the monarchy thinks about them. Other than as extended family. K&W are future King /Queen. They seem to focus on the future not the family that’s cut everyone off on both family trees.

I find every thing the Wales family does is exactly what is expected of them. Nothing is real. Their entire lives are staged and a lie. And Prince William is probably a real ahole in real life. Agree on William. I've know men like him IRL and they calcify in middle age because the decades of being told how important and smart and handsome they are just overpower whatever introspection or wisdom they'd normally gain with age. Whereas men like Harry tend to improve because years of being told what a screw up they are winds up encouraging empathy, and they can be really good fathers and partners with the right support. Meanwhile, Williams kids will all wind up terrified of him. At least their mom seems very loving and attentive, I think they likely all have good relationships with Kate.

I suspect Harry and Megan are somewhat dysfunctional because of their weird backgrounds, but they obviously get therapy and are trying to break some generational patterns and doing ok. Yes they lack self awareness about their privilege and are entitled. But overall I relate to them a bit more.

If you zoom in on the photo and look at the trees, amd Harrys head, there is a lot of photoshopping and 'stamping' happening. Most of it is blended but there are a few pixelated areas where you can see the stamp.

Funny how Catherine's photoshop was breaking news and no one says anything about this. Really shows their insignificance.

I don’t really care about the monarchy or W & K or H & M. I find W & K to be more likeable people but I give little thought to any of them unless I see a post or headline. I don’t see obvious photoshop in the Wales card, I see obvious photoshop in the Sussex card, I don’t think any are wearing a wig but I know nothing about wigs so I probably couldn’t tell if they were! They put these pictures out publicly, we look at them and comment.

Meghan and her babies are photoshopped from heaven to hell and back and the less said of Prince Harry’s dust bunny hair fluff and droopy drawers, the better. This picture is a mess. The kids are likely way too Markle-y for Meghan, and since they’re too small for the nose jobs Meghan started as a teen, she has to pretend this is about privacy. This is about vanity. Her kids are not appealing, and Archie has reputed special needs. If her kids could ‘compete’ with the Wales kids, she’d have their photos absolutely everywhere. But her kids have her crossed eyes and her OG bad nose, just like her daddy, who is down half a leg.
