This one is really enraging people in CA. There was a family sleeping in their car outside a shelter because their pet was terrified of the shelter. When the reporter interviewed the father, he said he was scared and depressed that he heard on FOX News that there was no money to help him rebuild even though he had insurance. It isn’t true and it’s inhumane that those disgusting hacks made things worse for a family who lost everything to throw spaghetti at a wall to see which lie stuck.

That is like saying we know what gravity is and how it works. We know gravity exists- not really able to figure out how it works. If knew we would have anti-gravity propulsion and not lame airplanes and rockets.

Climate is changing- but we also know that our climate has gone through massive changes previously. So life on this planet has to adapt or go extinct.

Yes, we know that there have been massive climate changes - millions of years ago when things like volcanic activity or comet strikes happened. What we're talking about is the increasing pace of climate change directly attributable to non-natural - i.e., human - causes.

Would take out most of North America but earth will cool by 10 degrees maybe.

That volcano is still active and last erupted 630k years ago - we may get lucky and it will pop off pretty soon.

Are you a climate scientist? If not, your post is just more MAGA blathering and opinion. That is not the same as fact. And the FACTS, per the scientists, are that climate change due to HUMANS is happening. So you can stfu.

Yeah it’s climate change. Anyone who has lived in CA their whole life knows and feels this.

Palisades and Malibu will rebuild quickly. It’s too good a location and too wealthy to be abandoned. Eaton will also be rebuilt. Heck, Paradise is also being rebuilt. Hopefully, the new houses will take advantage of new fire resistant materials that were not available when the original houses were built.

If people are truly that wealthy there and can rebuild without insurance, then I can see why many Californians cannot relate to the average American.
