Jussie Smollett attacked

Something isn't adding up. He was randomly walking along the river at 2am, by himself, and needed to call his manager? then keeps the rope on his neck for 40 min. NO ONE would keep the actual rope on their neck. Wondering if this is a grinder date gone bad?

It was like -20 degrees outside, too! Some randos were stalking him in -20 degree weather with rope and bleach ready hoping he would take a walk to Subway at 2am? Just doesn’t add up.

The stories going around that he made all of this up, that this could be a hoax are just terrible.

I cannot imagine the fear he suffered w/a rope tied around his neck.

I hope his perpetrators are caught because many people are at risk out there.
They seem very hateful + intolerant.

People are entitled to their opinions.

That doesn't mean to say he wasn't harassed or assaulted. But it wasn't random imo.

Where did it actually happen? Was it outside? Was it by his apartment (one version)? Was it by a hotel, which he entered according to cameras (CNN version)?

Why did he keep the rope (originally labeled a noose) around his neck for all that time?

Why did it take him that long to contact the cops who had to CONVINCE him to go to the hospital?

Why did TMZ call the substance bleach? And why don't we yet know what it is?

We all know the controversy over the phone. Many posters are saying NOT to trust the PD, but if he had nothing to hide and if handing over the phone was an easier route to finding the assailants, why did he still refuse? Any search warrant can be used to retrieve information on the phone by the way.

Why did he call his manager first? Was he afraid of bad PR?

We're all waiting for the information to fill in the gaps. To call someone sh***y and to tell him/her to "gfy" is both immature and ignorant. People speculate based on observations.

DP . I agree with the PP....people need to exercise their critical thinking skills, not just lap up the news as fact like some sort of brute animal. Oh, and you're a vulgar little person.

You'll be waiting forever. The perpetrators knew exactly where he lived.

A woman who lives in Jussie Smollett’s Chicago apartment building says she saw a suspicious man pacing about before the attack on the actor.

The unidentified woman told TMZ she was out walking her dog at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday when she noticed a man near the building’s parking garage and entrance. She described him as a scruffy white man wearing a blue winter hat, a blue zip-up sweatshirt with a hood and jeans with gray hunting socks exposed. She also said the man was wearing camel-colored dress shoes.

But the woman’s sighting goes further. She also noticed an item, possibly a rope, hanging from the bottom of his jacket, she said. She also observed another man, who was making contact with the first, standing near another entrance. She quickly retreated back to her apartment. The next morning she learned that her neighbor, Smollett, had been attacked. She soon contacted police to offer details about what she saw.

^^ So the stalker waited at least 2hrs in sub-freezing temps in the middle of the night *hoping* Jussie would just happen to head out on a walk? Surely this individual the witness says she saw is on surveillance video? I wonder why they haven’t released images of him as a POI..................

No one ever accused a celebrity stalker of being sane. Though this level of hatred is disturbing.
